Reoccuring role reversal

I've had this dream quite a few times with varying "story lines". Like many dreams, you do not "see" yourself, but simply know you "are". This said, I'm a young, straight, single woman who's had dreams about being the man, penis included, during intercourse with a woman & thoroughly enjoying it. In the moment, it never seems odd that there's this role reversal. Any ideas on what this means?

Yes. I have had difficulty finding meaning when on occasion trying to evaluate this same dream for others. One summer I think I must have seen this dream no less than twenty times from various dreamers. So many who have had this dream feel that they surely must be the only ones... Apparently not, because I found quite a few direct references and they all essentially said the same thing.

Of course it does depend on the exact context presented and I think that what you have given explains...
We all wonder how it feels to look from the perspective of the other side. Weather it concerns sex or any other subject, knowledge and understanding translates into balance in life. Your subconscious mind was likely presenting it's best case as to how it feels to be a man and to experience the pleasure of giving pleasure. This puts you on the other side of the experience and your dreaming mind gives you the sensual experience that you can never first hand experience (intimacy from the male perspective). Looking at anything from the other perspective is valuable in the way of understanding.
