I was traveling on a locomotive train with my sister and her husband. My sister was in control of the train. As we came into a town, the scene became cartoon like. In the sense that many yellow school buses, different colored cars, and many people were crossing the tracks. The train made a "swooshing" sound as it went through the town, but nothing or anybody got hit. Then we arrived at a lumber camp (they are in the hardwood lumber business) where they loaded the locomotive with many types of logs. My brother-in-law got very ill, so my sister asked me to help her drive the locomotive. Since I wasn't used to the power of it, I felt scared at first, especially when we went back through that town. (Again nothing or anybody got hit) However, we stopped in a large city where one of my boys was having a birthday party in the streets. Myw ife had prepared a chocolate cake, but had forgotten forks so she asked me to go buy some. I walked a block to a gas station and found a bag of white plastic forks in the parking lot and asked if these belonged to anybody. I was told that I could take them and we went back to the square and ate cake and ice cream. I tried to determine which city we were in. I narrowed it down to Columbus, OH and Pittsburgh, PA. I decided it had to be Pittsburgh because there are no high hills in Columbus.

Hi,
Driving means guidance a life or a workplace a locomotive means guidance and managing a big organization. A cake means a happiness but icecream means a quarrel. Forks means bad moral people. Good luck.

Well dreams can use place names as wordplays. The fact that you end up in Pittsburgh maybe significant. It may capture a mood or feeling inside at the time of the dream. Pittsburgh stands for feeling something was ""the pitts".
------------------------ Its amazing how good the TV reality show Big Brother is in understanding dreams. Occasionally contestants discuss their dreams. The cause of dreams is usually hidden in the events and feelings from the day before. The show itself highlights any pyschological changes within the contestants. They pick up on little changes in behavior and they interview the contestants on a daily basis. Dreams tend to symbolise new thoughts and feelings. They may link to some new thought being clarified within the dreamers mind. The whole days activity is crammed into a one hour show at night and so any changes in the contestants are neatly cut into sound bite size. The meaning of any one dream could even be traced back to one TV clip where a contestant actually says what is on their mind. They cannot hide from the cameras. The inner workings of their mind are on total view. Even the slightest smile or frown is picked up. Try this page which features Big Brother dreams going back several years. http://www.unclesirbobby.org.uk/dreambb5.php |

When I think of trains, I think of the Underground Railroad or the book the Little Engine that Could, which fill me with happiness. However, one night years ago, I had a very disturbing dream. They loaded me on a train and I asked, "Where are we going?" People looked really sad and I realized we were on our way to the concentration camp in Auschwitz. I kept protesting that I wasn't Jewish and nobody cared. I woke up upset and frightened. The funny thing is that I wonder if I was Jewish in a past life and survived the Holocaust...the scene was very vivid too. This dream also might have been prompted by me rereading the book Diary of Anne Frank.

In this case, it probably goes back to reading the Diary of Anne Frank.

Dreamalittledream :
Dreams may seem to be about one thing - jews going to auwswitz - yet in truth they are merely metaphors. occasionally they can be rather literal. yet this story on the train could be summed up - its one of INJUSTICE. The dream maybe is about some situation where you felt an injustice towards you. Ywet that injustice was misplaced because you maybe did not feel as if you were one of the category(jews). Dreams are little stories. They tell you about your life. Yet not directly. It maybe simply that this dream was your reaction towards reading the book. Actually your quote does capture one of the main themes dealing with the holocaust. I know one of the famous quotes about the holocaust goes something like this "They came for the jews. I was not a jew so I did nothing. They came for the socialists and I was not one so did nothing. They came for the Gipsies and the disabled and I did nothing. Then they came for me and no one did anything " ------------------------ In order to understand dreams you need to understand neural networks. Neural networks are how the brain stores important information. The dream mind connects to something happening in your life by comparing it to something esle that has previously happened. Inreal life you may feel tired. So a dream connects to that event by comparing it to an event where you felt the same sensations. So your dream mind is saying "I felt as tired as I did when I was moving house".
