recurring dreams about guns pointed at me, and the night time

I have these dreams which are bothering me...


its not the same dream over and over, but its the same situation, someone is pointing a gun at me and at my parents, but no one ever shoots. it's just a weird threat, and I never know why. (a few weeks ago me and a friend went to a coffee shop and someone had a gun right on the street where we were, and people were looking through the window, maybe that scared me?)


And there's the night time thing, I'm very frequently waking outside in the night, and sometimes through snow and storm, sometimes it's day and very snowy outside. I'm often walking with friends...

I only recently started a new job in my field of study and I love it, it's getting a bit more busy for me now but it's alright...but I had a dream that me and the people in my department got rewarded and that I won a trip to Spain...(I usually go to Portugal once a year but I won't be going there this year). So yeah...am I just nervous about my new job? I really want things to work out there But these dreams are totally scaring me and I want them to go away...

you guys both had great interpretations, thanks I had a pretty crappy day so that was a reflection of some of it...And the person above me in my department is leaving and I'll be alone, and I've only been there two weeks. Meh!
