Question About when everyone in the household has the same dream

July 12, 2008. My sisters and I live together in an apartment and around 4 to 6 this morning all of us had similar dreams. Our dreams seemed very different but we all had a common theme. We all dreamt about water, a deck or dock of some sort, birds and poop.

In my dream I dreamt that I was on a dock or deck of some sort in a lake with a bunch of people and at first there was so many white birds flying around then we wanted to catch a “goose”. I put it in parentheses because it had a geese face but a badgers body it also had 6 fins with about 5 claws coming out of it. In my dream I kept trying to convince myself that it was a goose but I knew that it wasn’t. Someone in my dream suggested that we had to catch it to eat it and so we started to chase it around it kept moving. It jumped into the water and out onto the deck. When it did that I saw the fur on body and became scared. It then flew onto a light post but since it had no wings it, when it flew it almost looked like a beaver when it dives into water. The deck in my dream got pooped by a flock of normal birds on while we were chasing this deformed goose.

My Older sister then told me that she dreamt that she was also on a deck at a beach or lake around the same time. In her dream she was with my sister and I and some other people that she doesn’t know well. We were on the deck when all of the sudden a flock of white birds flies over our head and starts to poop everywhere. In her dream she reaches for a towel to cover herself. And after the birds disappeared there was a tsunami warning and we had to evacuate. She does remember anything else.

Now my Younger sister was the last to wake up and she dreamt that she was at some type of swimming pool. When she got out of the water onto a deck there was a blue bird that she said didn’t look like a typical bird. It flew over her and she began to run but crapped in her face.
Yesterday none of us talked about water or birds or even a deck. We were actually shopping all day and doing our hair. So it is kind of weird that we would all have similar dreams, especially since it was so random. I really want to know what those things mean

I wish I could interpret these dreams accurately for you....but because two other people in your family had similiar dreams...or dream symbols...I am unsure if the dreams are prophetic in nature. I will say that birds and water tend to represent the spirit...or matters of the spirit. It almost seems like something may happen that will try to break down all of your spirits...possibly having to do with emotional matters. Again...I am guessing here because I generally interpret symbolic regular dreams...and if this is prophetic...I may be way off. The "goose"/beaver/creature represents some problem or distortion. Same with your younger sister's bluebird. Based on the symbols this is what I get: Your family as a whole will experience something that is sudden, distorted and not within your control. This will effect all of you emotionally. The fact that none of you ended up in bad situations in your dream...tells me that you all will all overcome whatever this is. I hope this helps some. Since you all live in the same apartment and did similar things it is not at all strange that you dreams were similar. However I think your dreams had more to do with what you ate than anything else. My guess is that something you ate or drunk before the sleep made you all a bit nauseous. A suggestion of sea sicknes or that sort of feeling is indicated by the dreams. The bird **** is another indicator as it conjures up a feeling of aversion and unpleasant smell.

A lake if swimming in means working for someone like a lawyer or a doctor or a teacher.
Haing claws means receiing some power.
Poos of animals means some moral money is on the way.
A pool means a work place and the poo means she will receive some money too.

The goose and birds in general represent wanderlust, foolishness, or going along with a group of people...group conformity. Because you all dreamed similar dreams think of what you discussed the day before of something that you did, in common.
Your dream has you in touch with your senses and shows that you are in the midst of discovery or getting to the bottom of a matter or issue. You wish to get off of dead center and get busy...although it seems as if you are all talk?


The sister who dreamed of the white birds, also looks forward to freedom or being free in some way...but is seems rather futile at this time. Either she is not ready to pursue her hopes and dreams or some consequence of feature is missing in her life, that would allow her to do so.

Finally the one who dreamed of the blue bird. Depending on the color blue, it will have different meanings. Given the context, I would surmise that she sees blue as both possibilities or opportunities, and or having the blues (so to speak).

It appears as if someone that you all know has gone on vacation or had an opportunity to leave and seek freedom at least for a while. This leaves you in a position of feeling shown up or left behind.

If I am off base, think of what you have all shared...feelings or thoughts (perhaps the day before your dream). These dreams are subconscious comments about your feelings and emotions of a shared experience or wish.

Thank You all for response. It is weird that we all dreamt abput similar things. My older sister and I were suppose to go on a vactation but we decided to cancel. But our friend still went. And also my older sister and I were offered a job by a friend of a friend who is starting his own business. So the information that you all gave did make sense. Thank You.
