Default Flying Over a Rich Countryside

I was flying high over a beautiful and fertile country. It was green with farms and forests. I was flying over a road that was going straight north.
Then I dreamed that I was conversing with my dead father-in-law and told him that I thought that children shouldn't be allowed to get their driver's license until they turned 18, he agreed with me. Next, my wife asked me if I would wake her for church the next day. I replied that I didn't know why she bothered asking me because she would never wake up in time. Afterwards, she wanted to go to a friends house, but for us to go separately. She would go by bike and I would go by car. There was a street that I wanted to avoid because of a woman that lived there, but I still arrived at her friend's house first, but my brakes weren't that good. However, my wife never showed up.

In general your dream starts by saying that things are rich and good in your life....BUT, there are some things that exist that might need fixing. The action in your dream of flying north, indicates that you are, in the process of exploring (in your dream) from a more mental capacity...looking at logic in your life and or the lack of logic.

From that platform or perspective, you get an overview of logic in your life as it applies to your marital relationship. The indication is that you and your wife are on different wave lengths so to speak, and the final notion being brought out, is that you seem to be the one who is more in touch what could be considered, "reality", such as being on time, or who to avoid and who not to avoid, possibly staying on track etc. Still your world is rich and a happy one.

Well how did you feel when you were flying. Was this an exhilirahting feeling? Maybe it was a release from the troubles and everyday issues and problems that the dream seems to list

------------------------
Dreams are not so much a record of events they are more a record of our feelings. The rational waking mind may describe an event that happened the day before in this way "I was talking with my friend yesterday and he was talking a lot about work". The dream mind is less interested in events and more about feelings. The intuitive mind looks at the same incident and thinks "I was with my friend yesterday and he was acting strangely. Normally he talks about our friendship but he seemed to be talking a lot more about work".

A dream does not really record reality in any systematic fashion. It is merely describing events by pointing to emotions. A dream may simply be a collection of feelings. Such as "I was doing housework and felt tired", "I was talking to my brother who always confuses me" and "I was in a tornament aiming a crossbow at a target". So when a dream contains a series of unrelated events and feelings it maybe refering to something that you have recently felt. Together these symbols build up a conceptual set of feelings about something happening in your life. So this dreamn was maybe refering to the previous day when "I felt tired and became steadily more confused trying to figure out how to complete my task. I decided to set myself little targets. It helped me conquer my own brain fatique".

I had the feeling that my journey would end at the top of a snow-capped mountain, but I knew that I had a long way to travel.
