Unhappy Killing baby dreams

So this is not the first dream I have had, but it might be the worst yet. I was taking care of 3 babies one of them being my younger brother (who is actually 23) and the other 2 I don't know. I decided to put them all in the dryer, you know to see what would happen. After about 10 seconds I opened it up and realized it was actually the oven and all 3 of them were burned to a crisp. I had this dream about a week ago and I am still having trouble sleeping because I was so upset by it. Any ideas?

Default Had the same one an hour ago

Hello,

That is completely weird, I had the same one an hour ago. I just woke up and could not go back to sleep. I do not really recall much but apparently, I just got into my aunt's house and shouted "If I don't get what I wanted." then I took a baby and broke its neck. I rushed back home trying to hide the baby as I was ashamed of what I did. Then I woke up.

I was going through the net, I found an answer saying that apparently it reflects a traumatic experience in your childhood. Well, I am here for answers as well.

It was a really weird and freaky dream.

Bye,
Tony Stark

P.S: Sorry if I hijacked your thread, I felt it was more appropriate to put mine in your thread as it dealt with the same thing.

A dream that disturbing does sound like it would be spurned by a traumatic event, though I don't necessarily agree that it would be one connected with childhood. That is not to say that it will have no connection to childhood, but infants are helpless and fragile. It seems most cruel and shocking to kill something so helpless, which is perhaps why the mind would choose that image for a shocking dream.

Did something happen to either one of you recently that would force your mind into this kind of "shock" therapy? Perhaps something that is particularly upsetting that you don't want to think about? Or something that doesn't seem worth worrying about, but on a subconscious level is really bothering you?

Alternatively, you may just be sleeping poorly. At times an over active mind that is not getting the rest it needs will sound its anxiety and stress in dreams.

Thanks Maideleh for your help.

I must admit, I have had a very stressful year. Lot and lots of work and very little sleep.

Dreams capture feelings in our minds. They compare one thing to another. Maybe this links to real life in some way. Often we may worry a great deal. what things were you worrying about at the time of the dream. In what ways do you fear things could go so drastically wrong if you somehow made this little mistake and forgot what you were doing

---------------------------------------
Some dreams mark a change in our feelings. They represent a new and fresh insight into some situation in your life. They maybe represent a new strategy to a task that you are focusing your mind on. Other dreams do not link to a change in our thinking. These dreams will simply link to strong emotions. They maybe show that a pressing issue is dominating our thinking. Perhaps it may link to some difficult relationship that simply will not resolve itself. In such cases the dream will capture your continuing strong emotions and frustrations.
