Dream about kittens

Hi, Just wondering if someone can help me with a dream I had last Wednesday that has got me thinking ... I had a dream that my father had given me a kitten and it was the most beautiful kitten I had ever seen. It was multi-coloured. I was holding it in my hand through the entire dream and I noticed that there were kittens everywhere I looked. My housemate arrived home (only it was my parents home) and she acted as though everything was fine between us but I knew that I needed to talk to her about an issue we were having (this is something that was actually going on in real life). The next scene in my dream she was alone so I corned her and told her that we needed to sort out this issue right away. The next scene was her talking to someone on the phone and when she got off I had asked her who it was and she said that it was her mother as she needed someone to witness our conversation (she was crying telling me this). We have another housemate, and in my dream all I could think was where is she - she needs to be here for the conversation. The scene then changed and I was in my parents ensuite trying to get water for my kitten. As I started the tap all these tiny little kittens kept jumping in the bowl and I was getting really frustrated at them, telling them to move. Suddenly I noticed that one of the kittens in the bowl was drowning so I tried to get it out and it was only at this point that I put down my kitten to try and resuscitate the limp white kitten (it was a very tiny kitten, maybe the size of my palm). I woke up at this point.
Is anyone able to help? I read somewhere that to dream of kittens could mean that something bad is going to happen??

Kitten means a little girl.And small kitten may mean a baby girl.
Cat sometimes means a kind woman and sometimes means a thief person.
Dreaming of a cat after sunrise meansa 6 days of an illness perhaps a flu.
