Toxic red clouds

Good morning. I had a very disturbing dream last night. Usually, I am pretty good about figuring out what it is I need from the dream, but I'm really stumped at this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So it starts out that I'm a student at VMI, a military school, except that it was located in Charlottesville instead of Lexington. [Note: I've never been in the military or even been the slightest bit athletic, but I was raised an Army brat.]

I was preparing for a play that was coming up this Saturday, when I realized I had agreed to participate in another play that same day. I was going back and forth between rehearsals, and I couldn't figure out what to do. [I have had this theme in dreams frequently- being 'double booked.' Any ideas?]

After the rehearsals, I went back to my dorm with a classmate [a real-life friend] and as we were walking down a hill, we saw these red, turbulent clouds. These are the type of clouds in pictures of hell. My friend turned to be and said that she'd heard these were coming. They were TOXIC and POISONOUS and could cause infertility problems for all the girls on campus. [I'm having trouble getting pregnant- maybe connected?]

The powerful red clouds quickly come on to us, and all of the sudden a tornado shoots down from the clouds. It's much wider and less organized than a real tornado, but definitely recognizable as one. It creeps up the hill, taking every car in the parking lot and cramming them together. We are all told to get in a school bus. We are not to breathe the air if possible. As we look out, the storm is taking over the countryside. There are deep ruts in the landscape where the red storm clouds and tornadoes have caused damage.

At this point we get out of the school bus and look for our cars. Every car has some damage, but unfortunately, some students were in the cars during the worst part of the storm. Also, there was some flooding in cars as well. Many people were trapped and dead.

I found my car and another friend found her car as well [I haven't seen her since High School] She had an old beat up Plymouth. We drove them both to my house because we needed to get them fixed. My house is about 2 hours away. I was worried because I didn't know if PT was going to be canceled or if school altogether was going to be canceled. I knew that I'd get in big trouble if I ditched, so we were going to try and drive back at 3 a.m. the next morning to get to PT by 5:00. While trying to figure out if we should go back at all, I heard that there were 58 dead at VMI. I'm not sure if that was 58 people or 58%.

[At this point, the story line gets a little choppy.]

We then decided to fix dinner, but set the table in front of the door instead of in the kitchen. The friend with the car was still with us. Her mother [Not her real mother] came do the door because she wanted her car. I guess she had 2 cars at VMI. She was invited in to eat, but was very rude. When we looked outside, she had set up a teepee where my husband parks his car.

Skip ahead until it's time to go. I'm trying to leave, and noone is leaving. My husband said he's staying home, and goes to lie down on the couch. I can't find anybody to leave with. I go out back, and all of my neighbors have pools in their back yard. Even though I'm running late, I still go touch them. I come around to the front door and there are a line of brown baby birds walking in my door. I look out to see many trucks and trailers in front of my house in such a way that it would be very difficult to get out. I'm very frustrated and know that I'll be in trouble for being late.

Hello Mrskd.

Your dream shows that your life is full of anxiety (borderline anger entrenched). The innuendo is that it is time to get into a mode of precision, and become more discipline about the ongoings in your life. The class mate connection meaning and the dinner (out of place) shows that this dream is a learning situation, and you were to have gotten food for thought but it seems as if you have been overwhelmed but the storms present in your life and there is really no progress to report. This may be showing anxiety in general, but it does seem as if you are in the midst of turmoil with your husband. Very possibly you are both in different camps, in a way of speaking. You are not in sync.

Time to tie up loose ends and find harmony. Very well could be showing your reason for not becoming pregnant (too much anxiety in your midst).
