Hi, I've never done this before so please bear with me,
It wasn't very long. Perhaps 30 seconds of perceived time passed. And it all took place in the first person. Most peculiar of all is that I remember the dream in exact detail. I was standing in a white room. In front of me was a girl, about eleven years old, in a radiant white dress. It's not a style of dress I'm familiar with, it kind of looked like a toga with two shoulder straps instead of one. She had blond hair (which was in a ponytail), and brilliant blue eyes. She was also holding a string of pearls, most likely a rosary. When she noticed I was there she looked me in the eyes, and her eyes became wide. Almost an expression of surprise, or fear, or awe, or something. She spoke to me, in a language I didn't know of at the time, and said, "Ho sōma hē sarx". She then handed me the pearl rosary and I woke up immediately afterward. I couldn't get back to sleep, so I began researching the dream. I first started with the words she spoke, as they were the most obvious. It took a great deal of time to find, but the language was Hellenistic Greek. I don't know Greek, and I never knew Hellenistic Greek existed. It translates into an ancient philosophical principle. In more recent Greek, it's translated as Soma-sema. Or, "The Body is the Tomb". And, of course, Pearls have many symbolic meanings. However, given the implied period (circa 323BC) and context, the string of pearls may mean souls, or wisdom. Again, I'm nearly at a loss as to what this means. Given the fact that I was spoken to in a language I never knew existed before this moment implies that someone is trying to tell me something. I'm just not sure what. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Last edited by Jables : 07-05-2008 at 04:55 AM. |

With your standard ef education, it is likely that your subconscious will present you with a suitable dilemma! Obscure words or phrases are a stock-in-trade of the subconscious mind to use in waking dreams. The girl in the dream is based on one of your thoughts about you having an earlier existence! Forget about it! "You only live twice" The meaning of the dream: wake up you lazy blighter! Cheers Wolfjk
