same water dream all the time

For many, many years now i have been having the same variation of a water dream. in my dream i am always in a scary situation involving water. the water is always dirty, murky, scary, and threatning. its never really a fear of drowning in the dream though..its more like i am always scared of being in or falling into the water because it is dirty. one example is this one dream i had where my town was flooded in water and i was happily swimming in it until i realized that flood water is usually contaminated and then i started freaking out and couldnt get out of it. another dream was i was walking along a cliff and terribly afraid of falling into the water beneath me which was all gross like the Hudson River in NYC. i have these kinds of dreams at least once a month since i was a teenager and i am now in my mid-twenties. any idea of what this could mean. btw: i am not afraid of water in real life as i am a pretty good swimmer and actually love to swim in pools and calm ocean waters. i do have a slight fear of drowning though mostly because it seems like a very lonely way to die.

It is fairly easy to guess what your water dreams are based on! When you were young, your mother constantly warned you against falling in the water and drowning! Now your subconscious mind uses the warnings in your present dreams to wake you up or generally raise your level of consciousness in sleep.
You probably have these water dreams when you need to be woken from sleep, when you tired or stressed, or when you feel off colour in sleep!

Dirty , murky water if you swimm in means an illness or a sorrow after a month or two of the dream.falling a cliff means not achieving a wish .Diving means starting a new job.
