- i dreamed that I was in a field watching something, then out of the corner of my eye i saw a cat chasing a hare, but the hare ran away, so it went after two mice, an adult and a young mouse. i thought it killed them both, but then the adult mouse got up and ran off, leaving its tail behind. the man i was with explained that mice can detach their tails at will in order to escape from predators. i know an animal can do this but i can't remember which one, i don't think it was mice.
- i also dreamed that i was at a friend's, when my vision went blurry and i saw huge fingers burrowing through the door. i knew i was hallucinating and was worried i was going insane, so i ran out of the house and went to my own house. then later on i was asleep and a different friend came to visit me. i told her i was worried about going insane. she said not to worry, then she started admiring these wooden animals on the end of sticks that had suddenly appeared in jars on my windowsill. |

Hi,
Hare means a woman, mice are two girls, they will overcome a kind woman or a thief person. Their tail means their family they will seperate. ( the animal you mentiones is small lizards). Going insane means lending money with a high interest rate.

Dreams relate to the inner workings of our minds. they show how we store concpetual ideas and feelings. The symbols are often metaphors relating to extremely important core feelings. When you have a dream it shows some new insight in your mind eg "I disliked him especially because he didn't let me speak". Dreams concentrate on such insights. They show our strength of feelings.
yet interpreting dreams is so very hard. How can I guess what is in yourmind. How can I now what relationship problems you have had? how can I tell what TV programs you watched and if they had some profound effect on you. Dreams respond to everything inside your life so each dream has to be interpreted by the person who had the dream. Its not so difficult. Often dreams link to the day before. Thats obvious really. Its the first opportunity we have had think about new events. So think about new moods, new insights into what has just happened. lets look for some clues in the symbols. the cat is a predator. The mouse and hares are predated upon. Think how that relates to real life. Did you feel predated upon the day before? Did you try to pick on others and imposes your own strength Think also about the size of the creatures. The hare is big and perhaps too big to cope. We see the formation of some conceptual matter here - dealing with ideas like "He was picking on something that was just too big. He really should concentrate on something more manigible". But also it leads on to a kind of bullying idea. The cat is much bigger than the mouse and its easy prey. How does that mirror real life right now? Think also of the tails. This falls off so the mice escapes. Has anything mirrored this. Do you feel as if you escaped the predator. Do you feel as if you cornered some problem but it has proved elusive since. That really the solution was not found. Those are some ideas. But only you can resolve this dream. -------------------------------------------------- My own fascination in dreams is with how they capture our own thoughts. In the english language we say things like "I felt really threatened and targeted when my boss concentrated on my own individual faults". Yet how does the dream mind communicate such ideas. Actually understanding dreams is not so difficult. Dreams often relate to intuitions and dilemmas and even paranoias that are on our minds. Many many dreams(not all) have connections with the previous day. So just spot the issues on your mind. Then see how the mind translates these concepts into dream language. So if the previous day had featured a situation with your boss where "I felt really threatened and targeted when my boss concentrated on my own individual faults" then look to see how that dream could be translated into a dream. If yoiur boss features in that dream then we have a strong connection. If some bad emotions feature in the dream then thats another clue. Try to link any symbols and there possible meanings to the real life issue. If for instance the dream featured a gun then this could symbolise the way you felt targeted in real life by your boss. Many pages on my own website try to show how real life thoughts are translated into dream symbols. Try the following pages Dream interpreting - the police and security forces and their symbolic meaning Examples of correctly interpreted dreams Dream dictionary symbols - How to analyse and interpret dreams DREAM DICTIONARY |

the cats and mice remind me of Maus by Art Spiegelman as well. i don't think it would be a financial thing... i don't have any debts. it might be literal, i do worry if i'm going insane sometimes. |
