Exclamation Dreamt of friend's wife dying...need interpretation

A brief history - I hung out with a bunch of friends on Saturday, mostly co-workers, at my home. I am female and I have a male co-worker (Larry) who brought his wife, this is the first time we hung out with him and his wife other than work functions. There were 7 of us including Larry and his wife Angela. We spent a good 6 hours together. It was tough getting to know my friend's wife, but we managed ok. My other friends kinda thought she was a little cold, but I associated it to not knowing us very well like we know her husband. I am married with 3 kids.

I had a dream the night after the party ended (went to bed 2:30 am). It was very vivid and over quick because my daughter woke me from the dream.

To sum it up - in my dream, I see my friend Larry's wife fall to the floor of a house where a bunch of people were having a get together. I remember seeing it like a movie and when she fell, her arm was hanging out and her eyes were open, but it looked like she was dead. Her husband (my friend Larry) starts to walk towards her almost like to try and save her some how then he retracts and starts walking backwards and the dream ends. I distinctly remember the wood floor she fell on.

I told my friend about the dream and he is really upset about it, I wish I hadn't but he proceded to tell me that his wife's dad is about to begin chemotherapy for lung cancer and her parent's house has wood floors and that they were planning on taking separate trips to help them out (we live in Florida, they live in Tennessee).

I have had strange dreams before, some are messages while others are just plain nothing or wish dreams.

I thank you in advance for your help!
Jenn

Default Party dream

Hi,

It is very likely that your dream was caused by your daughter trying to wake you up! Going to bed at 2.30 in the morning after a party can cause any sortof dreams, and being woken up is the most likely cause. The memory of your friend and what you were talking about is still fresh in your mind. You should not have attached any meaning to the dream. It was dreamt simply to wake you up.
Cheers Wolfjk

Hi,
It rarely happens that a death dream comes true as it was dreamt.

Dreams are symbolic and should be interpreted. She was dead means she will have a problem solved.
Or she was dead means his hubby won't achieve a wish or will lose a chance at work.
Good luck.

Dream language interpretation is an ancient science of allusions and pointing of the surrounded environment, as Mr. Einstein has said the events are like train stations which exist and we are moving towards them, these are prewritten destiny with some authority ( in decision making seconds) in very full details. This dream language should be translated, and interesting to know it is international and common for all human beings. But ignorance causes some misunderstanings.People were not aware of this language and always thought in a bad way , for example Mr. Freud said about sexual dreams it is because you have suppressed your sexual desires so misled everybody and some women dreamt about having sex with co-workers or another and thought they should do that, while it only meant he will do something for her, or some others dreamt had sex with the same sex and invented homosexual, while it meant the same ,Also some men dreamt his wife had sex with a man and didn't understand or a woman dreamt her partner had sex with a woman and didn't' understand ...etc.Do you see what catastrophes are caused by misunderstanding a language.

I want to tell you a reason to know that 5 senses can't understand anything except by the soul,
Have you dreamt you were eating and drinking and had pleasure of that. He said yes. I said: have you dreamt laughing and crying, and strolling in the cities that haven't seen yet but you know the specialties. He said: yes dreamt very much. I said: Have you ever dreamt about your dead brother or father and know them like they are alive.
He said: yes too many times. I said: tell me which sense has received such things to see the dead and talking to them or crying and laughing. He said: I can’t say which one. Because the body is slept like a dead. I said: tell me when you wake up don’t you remember and report to the friends exactly, He said; yes and sometimes I see that before night in real life. I said; which sense keeps it to remember the dream after waking. He said; there is no way for sense. I said then you should know because senses are vein here that is the soul that God has put wisdom in it and it is a reason. He said; what I dream is like mirage one thinks it is water but when arrive at there is nothing. I said; how do you say it is like mirage and you ate sweets and pickles and were happy and sad he said; because what I dream when I arrive at it is nothing. I said: have you ever had sex in the dream and your hearts beat, have you ever had wet dream about a woman or man. You know him or don’t know He said many times said had you orgasm and when you woke up you were wet then this is not mirage.
He said: dreaming orgasm is just like the real life .I said this is my reason that soul. Knows everything although senses are dead and can’t see or hear of course you shouldn’t deny that soul in addition of the senses knowledge recognition in the waking life and after vanishing the senses has sex with them then it recognizes the things after going senses and now you understand that the itself is guiding the senses and is their governor and none of the senses can’t do anything without soul; if the soul goes a head body wasn’t get back and if soul gets back the body won’t go ahead with the soul the happiness comes and with it the ache is received if a sense is damaged the soul is remained but if the soul is damaged senses can work properly.

The mind works in ways in dreams that real life will not allow. In yours, think of your friends wife as dead weight, your mind knows the everyone might have had a better time if she had not been there and so it acknowledges it in a most blatant way.
Your see...the wood floor and the emphasis you had on the floor in your dream translates out to your subconscious thoughts wishing that she were not there.

This is all that it means.
In the context everything appears the translation is really pretty universal. Wood...subconscious thoughts....(actually the more wood grain and deeper the color shows thoughts that were deep), dead in this context shows your wish that she just was not there.
Her husband would have had more fun without her there...second thoughts he has and starts walking backwards.

I do not think the dream involves any premonition or telepathy. Its actually got a perfectly ordinary explanation. I always look to ordinary internal causes of dreams before looking for premonitions. Premonitions do happen but they are quite rare.

The dream seems quite straightforward. Many dreams link to dilemmas and problems in our minds at the time of the dream. Dreams record your feelings. If someone is dead then they can be described as unresponsive. Its just a metaphor. Someone is dead - they are cold and unemotional. The fact that this dream occured the day after you made a judgement about her is clear. Thatis the trigger.

The other event is just a coincidence. Or at least this is another possible explanation for the dream - though one which is much less likely to be true. Though we can never truly tell what a dream means.

------------------------
When you get a dream first try to see it in simple ways. In a very simplified version think if the dream is good or bad. If you feel good in the dream and things are going well then just sum up that portion of the dream as "feeling good". Then try to see where you are feeling good in life. Is there some relationship that is making you feel good? Is there some situation that cheered you up yesterday? Are you generally feeling good right now? Such simple clues are the easiest ones to trace. So instead of getting caught up in the details of the dream first take an overview. Many dreams work through changes in our feelings and will describe ways in which our emotions transformed. So first reduce your dream to a simple list of emotions such as "I felt good and was optomistic", "I was confused" and "I felt frustrated". The basic details of the dream may involve all kinds of symbols and hidden meanings but often you get the best clues from the feelings. If you take the above list of feelings in the dream it maybe exactly capturing your feelings from the day before when "I was really looking forward to work yesterday. Then a colleague started to interfere in my work project and I became angry. My ideas were undermined and I ended the day feeling frustrated". The dream itself may feature all kinds of silly details which bear no resemblance to reality but the dream captures the exact feelings and emotions over some specific incident.
