Reconnecting with old flame in front of current boyfriend

I have been dating my current boyfriend(Rob) for almost five years now. However before we began dating there was another guy(Tim) who I had liked for a long time and we finally started to connect to get together, he was a really great person to talk to and share everything with but in the end my current boyfriend won me over and we are currently very happy. And Tim started dating Liz whom I didn't know but they broke up a few years ago.
I haven't spoken to to the Tim in two years but last night I had a dream that Tim and Liz showed up to a party my family was having for me and Rob was already there sitting with me. Tim walks over and I run up and say how glad I am to see him and he says he is also. We hug with Rob and Liz right there and then it turns into the kind of hug when you really love someone when you relax your whole body and sort of melt into them. He tells me he has a gift to give me later and for some reason I find that so sweet I kiss him on the cheek right in front of the Rob and Liz, Rob wasn't looking Liz was but she didn't seem to care.
We are outside in a park where the party is taking place and my whole family is there also and Tim says he's got to leave. We go in to hug again but again it turns into that deep hug of not just friendship and he tries to kiss me on the lips this time, I pull away before it happens and look at Rob who has his back turned and then to Liz who is looking right at us but again says nothing.

But he never gave me the gift he just told me had one for me. I was more focusing on the why him part and why Rob was never looking at any of the incidents.
