Unknown girl in my dreams

Over the past week or so i have been having dreams about this girl, that i have not seen, known or heard of before. The feelings i get when im with her in my dreams is absolutely unbelievable and feels so amazing and when i wake up i am feeling very disappointed but eager and i cannot stop thinking about her on and off all day. I already have a girlfriend, whom i love very very much, but; when i think of this girl i feel much better and it really guilts me that when im with my girlfriend im thinking of this unknown girl in my dreams. I dont know what this is telling me, but since i was young i have always been the sort of person to have very vivid and intense dreams, to the point it would cause depression and i could explain every feeling/thought/word and event that happened.

I basically didn't know who to ask about this situation; i thought of going to my girlfriend and asking her but obviously, that wouldn't help and would make her feel really terrible or think im cheating on her. I have never cheated on her and never thought of it nor has an opportunity come up. Things aren't going the best with us at the moment but its up and down. My only explanation is that deep down inside im looking for "the love of my life"? Too me, the girl is perfect in every way, visually and personality wise. Can anyone help me?

Oh and i thought it would probably be best to give an example of what my dreams where like.
The first dream i had went like this.

I was with my girlfriend and we were walking to this park in an unknown city or location. there were a couple of guys there, my friends i believe. And we were all just talking and stuff when i realize i left something back in town so i start to walk back and i look back and my girlfriend is in her bikini and about to dive in this pool or lake and the other two guys (don't look like my friends now) are running over to her to "play" with her in the pool. She looks at me and smiles, i turn back around and sort of have my head droop to the floor as if i were depressed or very upset or betrayed etc. When i get back to the city i enter a cafe where i see a friend of mine, drunk and these two girls. I go get the thing i wanted to get. and this girl is in my way and i politely ask if she would move, which leads to us talking and getting along very well. after 5 minutes of talking, its as if we already know we want each other so i am about to go over ask my friend if we can join him at the table, then i realize i dont know the girls name. so i go back to her and ask her, i cant really remember what she said as it was either gibberish english or another language. we go over to my friend and he is drunk and violent and insulting me so i leave him alone. This girl then takes my arm and we walk out the cafe and she is all over me to so speak. and at the time i am thinking something like this;

"I know i shouldn't be doing this, i don't want to do this, but it feels so good i havent felt this way. I also know that recently she asked if i would ever cheat on her and i promised i wouldn't because i have great self control.. but i knew this was different for some reason..."

I was thinking something like that.
