Default Weird dreams making me feel insane

I had a dream two nights ago and since I woke up, any time I am alone and I get a flashback of it I get disgusted. So disgusted that I feel uneasy and full of anxiety. The whole dream is almost a complete blur to me but there was just ONE THING I remember seeing that for reason is driving me insane.

I was standing in a busy street with someone I knew and there was a large weird looking man in front of me. I couldn't really see his face, just a bit of his profile and mainly his back. He was kind of fat and strange, but the weirdest thing was his head. It was like he had fleshy dreadlocks. Like... squid hair or something. I remember it looked super strange and I couldn't stop looking at it in the dream... like I was utterly disgusted but I actually followed him for a while to keep looking at his weird... tendrils of flesh or tenticles growing from his head and neck. Ew. I swear to you it's making me so squeemish right now even recollecting it like this but I had to explain it to someone. What the hell?

I've always had nightmares as well as good dreams, but the nightmares never left me feeling sick in the head for multiple days after, even if I had some messed up incest dream I would get over it after a day, but this simple single image is so friggin awful to me. I had another god-awful dream 2 weeks ago that gave me similar feelings, where there was this half-girl/half-snail and I was eating her. Her snail body was big and gross and slimy and tasted like muddy jello. Yet I continued to try and eat it, even after dropping it on the floor. Again, what the hell?

I would much rather have less dreams about disgusting, abnormal animal creature things (and me putting them anywhere near my mouth) and more dreams about... ANYTHING ELSE.

Hi,
Interesting dreams! The dreams are trying to tell you something that you probably already know!
I', sure something you eat or drink before going to sleep is making you feel like you want to throw up when you sleep. These dreams wake you up before you're actually sick in your sleep, which would be very dangerous as you might choke on your vomit. Many alcoholics and heavy drug users die that way.
The dreams of alcoholics and drug users gradually get more vivid and more horrific as as the brain becomes duller and in the end the dreams cant engage the brain when there is a need to wake up.
However an allergy to some foods could cause your nightmares. Only you can solve the mystery.
Cheers Wolfjk

Default hehe

Well I guess you nailed it because I've gotten both of those weird dreams after drinking in excess. Looks like I got a wake up call in my dream- chill on the drinking! Thanks
