I'm really confused about my dream!

Hii,

I've been having loads of really terrifying dreams lately but I had a dream the other night that really has stuck in my mind. I dreamt that i was in a hotel a really old fashioned one and i needed the toilet. But everytime i needed it the owner said i couldn't use the one here i had to go down to the basement toilet. To get there i had to walk through a door, down a creaky staircase into a very dark room much like an old house made of timber. I went through some sort of kitchen and then climbed through one of those doors that they used to hv a lift n put the food on the lift to take it upstairs. Anyway i went into another room with a bed and a rocking chair and an old gaunt woman in a white nightgown which i was aware that she was a ghost or spirit of some kind and she would be rocking manically on the chair and when i walked in she would come right up to my face in a flash and start terrorizing me. I had an odd feeling that this woman was called Sarah.

I went down this passage over n over until eventually i told her to leave me alone and brought some people with me to show them. Suddenly i started crying asking her what she wanted from me and i suddenly kept recieving post it notes stuck to my hands and on the bed saying 'Not now Hannah, It's too Late' and such things. i felt really terrible after like i had let this lady down though i was terrified of her.

The only thing that i find really odd is when i was a bit younger i had a dream where i was stuckin a dark indoors car park and a slightly younger woman also called Sarah did the same thing, she terrorized me in the dark to the point i was screaming.

Does anybody know anything about this kind of thing? The dream almost haunts me!

The dream explores the notion that you are likely not performing (in your waking life) to expectations that you know are reasonable for your capabilities.

Expounding a bit, the toilet shows that you are under the influence of anxieties that need to be gotten rid of. The basement toilet is significant, as it shows that which is getting you all wound up is pretty deep (so to speak), my be sexual tension, or deep rooted problems from the past (OR BOTH...which would be called multi plane dream). The indication is that this is a problem that you have thought about long and hard, likely a problem from the past. The lift in the kitchen shows either or both...sexually based resolution that is needed. (I know that this sounds Freudian but I am not Freudian at all. Sex is one of the universal symbols brought out here...the other is that the lift from the kitchen is relating to food for thought that is being served up to the higher thought of the mind...(showing that you are indeed bringing something to consciousness that has likely not been addressed for quite some time). The bed...again possibly sexual connotation OR symbolic of the fact that these thoughts will be explored as you sleep (via the subconscious)...being brought to consciousness is once again being noted.
I do not know what connection the name Sarah has to do with this...she would be a personal symbolism or connection. Her role has to do with the fact that the wisdom within you is not very happy with you for some reason. Again in some way you are not living up to your personal expectations.


The next part with the post it notes is highly significant and should clue you into the main meaing of the dream. Typically when something is written out and handed to the dreamer it is the same as the subconscious mind saying....Apparently you just don't get it so I will just hand you the meaning and it usually is pretty point blank...not needing interpreting.

So I ask?
Have you been negligent, or tardy in tending to something that needs your attention as of late?

The other dream that you noted about being younger in the car park also shows that you were basically sitting inactive...not acting on something that needed to be done. These dreams are connected (just as you suspected).

As a result of these dreams, explore that which you may not be doing...
Ask if you are late or not attentive to important (time sensitive) aspects of your life?
The innuendo is that whatever behavior that you are being blamed for is really getting old!! Dreams are normal good presenters of metaphor, word play and innuendo as a means of figuring out just what the issues is.

I think that you already know what this is about, and it is just being brought up as a sort of sore area that needs correcting!
Not so likely by the context (when considered in full) to be of sexual nature but you may still want to see if it might still apply.

that makes a lot of sense to be honest, i broke up with my long term boyfriend a few weeks ago n we've recently got back together but in the mean time there was a lot of stress with that and a lot of my work and such things i started to slack alot. I had a really awful relationship a while back when i was very young and the outcome has sort of scarred me and starting a relationship is one of the hardest things i do so i was really all over the place when it ended.

I've had a lot of dreams like that since i broke up with him but now we are together they seem to have stopped. Maybe it was all because of that? In the dreams i had i was always being terrorized, or watchin other ppl get hurt but in some way i was always protected.

In one dream i was in a house much like my boyfriends and my friends supposed brother was there but he had to stay locked in his room because he was some sort of vampire like creature, anyway some how he got out, i think it was actually me that let him out n he killed a basket ball team which his mum was playing in. i didnt recognize anyone though. But my brothers friend in the dream rang me and told me to escape so while the monster (person) was sittin watching tv i snuck into his room which was really dark to try and sneak out the window but i turned round n he had come in after me but though he was really evil n covered in blood i wasnt scared it was slightly peaceful. I felt almost liek he was protecting me like he loved me or something because he had killed everyone and eaten everyone? but he jus wanted me to stay there with him and not leave him and i deep down didnt want to leave him. Its really strange but i still woke up in a sweat.

Do you think this is all one linked thing?

i forgot to mention in the dream i had about the brother being some sort of demon like thing, i actually found him very attractive he was very dark and mysterious which i found really nerve racking. Also when he 'ate' the basket ball team (no idea where that came from) he asked his mother something and she said no you have to use a spoon and gave him one and for some reason it was something to do with her brain? im not so sure. All i know is after that it jumped to him watching tele in my room n i was sittin in the room next to him nt he door was open so i cud see his profile, he was keepin an eye on me but he never once hurt me. xx

cud the spoon be about a bf speaking bad too or is it purely a gf? That adds up becoz we broke up over ppl saying things about me to him and him to me that weren't true.
