Default I can't get it out of my head

Last night I had a horrible horrible dream that my oldest son had died....in the dream I saw him laying there lifeless - its was not a violent death, in fact I am unsure of how he died in my dream, but I can't get the vision out of my head today. I sit here at work and just start crying because of it. Someone please tell me what it means. In the dream, there was someone else who was trying to communicate with their dead son, and I was getting ready to go on some type of light with him to try to talk to my son...I know it is a strange dream, but I need to know where it is coming from and what it means. My son is only 11 years old now, and the thought of this dream is driving me batty.

Hi,
dreams of immatured children is about their parents and boys is about their father, so his father will have a problem solved as death means a constraint will be over.In dream language life means a constraint .

Also dreaming a son means an illness or a sorrow , died means curing or overcoming the illness.

Dream language interpretation is an ancient science of allusions and pointing of the surrounded environment, as Mr. Einstein has said the events are like train stations which exist and we are moving towards them, these are prewritten destiny with some authority ( in decision making seconds) in very full details. This dream language should be translated, and interesting to know it is international and common for all human beings. But ignorance causes some misunderstanings.People were not aware of this language and always thought in a bad way , for example Mr. Freud said about sexual dreams it is because you have suppressed your sexual desires so misled everybody and some women dreamt about having sex with co-workers or another and thought they should do that, while it only meant he will do something for her, or some others dreamt had sex with the same sex and invented homosexual, while it meant the same ,Also some men dreamt his wife had sex with a man and didn't understand or a woman dreamt her partner had sex with a woman and didn't' understand ...etc.Do you see what catastrophes are caused by misunderstanding a language

Good luck.

Our subconscious minds often bring up circumstances, so that we may understand all perspectives. Now it certainly goes without saying that you love your son very much, but when the mind allows us to participate in the deep feelings and emotions associated with love ones, it helps us to put things into perspective. What perspective you might ask?? It this dream is allows you to come to a "full understanding" of, how much you love him, what he means to you etc. I know that such scenarios are painful but we often see them in dreams.

As well, dreams of loved ones dying help us to learn how to deal with such a huge loss (should it ever happen). Exploring mortality, both ours and that of others, gives us a real idea of how precious certain people are to us.
Your dream does not even start to have symbolism that suggests that it is precognitive. I will suggest that you might be even quicker to give your son a hug and kiss, and to let him know how special he is to you. Every time you do this you will realize that you have him, and he is alive and well. Because you a have suffered his loss (in dream) will allow you to be ever more appreciative of the gift of his presence each and every day.

Well dreams can be premonitions. However, if truly interpreted many dreams would surprise you. If someone dies it may simply mean that you are realising how important to you.

Also if they die it may signify a change in their situation. At eleven years old he may be growing up and is now less dependant on you. So in a way that boy has already died.

The dream may not even be about this son. It maybe about your other son if you have one. Dreams do that. They swap one person for another. I have noticed that with my own dreams it may swap people like that. So that a dream that seems to make no sense now makes perfect sense. So dreams will regularly swap one person for another - one coworker for another, one member of a family for another.

------------------------
Dreams can use one set of emotions from the past to show how we are feeling something very similar right now. That’s where many dreams can be misinterpreted. Many psychologists point to deep and traumatic events that we are bringing up within our dreams. Yet they are mistaken. The dream is not about that incident. The dream is comparing that traumatic incident to some current situation with something that has just happened. Yet because the dream seems to be about the event in the past we assume that’s what the dream is about. But in reality dreams will be often simply saying "yesterday was as bad as what happened last year". Many times we seem very upset and things seem chaotic but after a good nights sleep the previous day’s events will be put in perspective. It may have seemed a nightmare when we couldn't get the printer to work or when everything seemed to go wrong for you on a particular day. Dreams depict events in our head. Our mind often exaggerates situations and feelings. So many times these crises within our mind get quickly forgotten. But dreams will deal with these here to day and gone tomorrow emotions.
