dream bout betrayal

well i had a dream that i was going out with this one guy i used to like but then it changes from him to some girl (i dunno why) and everybody started spreading bad rumors bout me.

and then last night i had this other dream where this like secret admirer i guess tried to kill me (well at least i think it was him) cuz i like fell in this thing that makes tortillas and i could have been chopped to pieces then the guy turns it off with this evil look on his face and leaves me this big stack of like stuff he wrote about me and i was trying to get out of there before he hurt me but i had to take all the suff and read it and i guess that's how he would spare my life.

so i kinda conclude that maybe the dreams shows me what i already know that i'm scared of starting a relationship because somehow i feel in the long run i'm gonna get hurt but i dunno maybe it has some hidden meanings in there.

could someone help me understand what those dreams meant?

I would say that you probably nailed the meaning. Fear of failure when it comes to lasting relationships.
What should you do now?
I would think that you should start working on the basics of trusting and being trusted. In some way you have likely witnessed someone hurt in a relationship ...most likely someone very close to you. This creates apprehension and fear...Yes this happens but it does not have to happen. You can learn to communicate well with those who you build any kind of relationship with and let them know that you expect the same. When you commit feelings to someone you stand the chance of being obliterated but the payoff is exponential when you discover trust (both giving and receiving).
