Eh, I just had the weirdest dream. I was in this small town (it wasnt the town I grew up in, this place looked worse, like a ghetto.) and there was a train that came through.
In the dream everyone takes the train, where did it go--- i don't remember... But It was one of those dreams where the tracks separate the good side of the neighborhood from the bad. I rode the train a couple of times only to decide it was a scam? That the train was really going no where and that everyone was too scared to admit it. So I decided to walk it instead. Everyone would look at me crazy because to get there you have to walk through really rough parts of town. I laughed at them and said it wasn't that bad, that I would prove it. When I started off on my lone journey I walked alone the tracks to follow to see where it went, and where I could decide elsewhere to go. The train would catch up to me several times but I would jump out of the way and dodge the train and curse at it--- very paranoid like... like i was blaming the train for trying to kill me, and for lieing to everyone. After time, people would stop pretending that they thought I was crazy, and got the nerve to cheer for me. When I was in the really bad neighborhood I would playfully jump from the bad side of the tracks to the good side and everyone would get scared. When I was close to the end of my journey my dad rolled up to me in his car and said.... so why you walking?.. i explained... he said... well why don't you just ask a ride from me? I stood dumbfounded like... holy ****.... i can do that?? So i rode with my dad to my destination (donno where) and that was my dreams happy ending. Now in my waking life, I used to ride a train to my college in Chicago. I would come home to my small town from the train as well. Maybe there is a connection... i am rather pissed at my college. |

The train dream could possibly show a basic anger toward your college but at the same time there is more than what is surface level.
Your dream shows something about you. It is a basic profile that paints you as a person who was at one time like everyone else until you decided that you do not like to be like everyone else. You are one that enjoys independence and the freedom that you have to intermingle in all levels and aspects of culture and society. You have learned the value of being different, being individualistic and now you just need to find a niche in life that will allow you to grow in insight and knowledge. It is through education (both in school and on the streets) that you can become one who can live out the person that you are inside. Perhaps you will be surprised to know that this dream is one of leaders....a dream that shows that you are not happy just following the crowds...to go to day in and day out boring jobs. It shows that you are an individualist who, through creative ways (that are part of you) you can show others the beauty of life and diversity. The innuendo of the dream still shows that in some way you need to be able to find a way to sustain this lifestyle (monetarily). Remember to be open to ideas in this area. Remember stay within the law. Remember that you have the makings of a leader, so find a way to lead in a positive way. All of this in insinuated in your dream...so perhaps it is time to bring things to life. One note coming from me. This is not part of your dream. Leadership qualities are great qualities to have, but it is essential to be able to socially fit in to social environments (to some degree). The key is to be true to yourself while at the same time paying your dues. That will allow you to be comfortable in all social levels. By being able to communicate in all levels you will find opportunities and ideas worth applying your social abilities toward. all of the best, sailrmc |
