Stump Of Dead Tree Spurting Blood

Dreamed June 24th, 2008 Tuesday

I dreamed that part of my job of manual labor. I agreed to be part of a crew who cut down dead trees and removed the stumps for a little extra money. This house in East Liverpool that was just down the street from Adrian's needed to have a dead tree stump removed. There was a property across the street from it that had some tall dead trees to be removed. The men went to get some heavy equipment to go pull out the dead trees across the street. It was a warm sunny pleasant summer day. I could wield the big chainsaws myself but when I looked at the tree stump next to the house I thought I just might be able to pull it out of the ground myself because the wood was dry and it was loose in the ground. I was able to rip out the entire tree out of the ground like it was nothing. There was no life in it at all, so it was good I removed it, but when I dug around the stump to remove it, all the way to the roots, the stump oozed a little blood. I called the owner over. I said, 'Look at this! This was one rare kind of tree. The kind that grows in swamp land, in a very wet enviroment (similar to a syncamore tree).' I wanted to believe that the red liquid wasn't really blood, but a very red sap. I believed that this was only what was left of the sap that went down to the bottom of the tree during the winter months that never came back up to circulate through the tree. It would be safe to remove it entirely.

I read the Bible quite a bit, and traditionally, in the Bible, trees represent people.

Ezekiel 17:24
All the trees of the field will know that I the LORD bring down the tall tree and make the low tree grow tall. I dry up the green tree and make the dry tree flourish. " 'I the LORD have spoken, and I will do it.' "


The dead trees that need cut down are the wicked. The wicked will be uprooted from the land, the righteous will replace them.

Psalm 37
9 For evil men will be cut off,
but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.

10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
though you look for them, they will not be found.

11 But the meek will inherit the land
and enjoy great peace.

Mathew Chapter 15:12-14 Jesus said:
12Then the disciples came to him and asked, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?"

13He replied, "Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14Leave them; they are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit

well, it is possible that the liquid oozing from the tree was not blood at all, but simply a dark red sap. in which case it was a harmless dream and there is nothing to worry about. However, the tree in the dream could represent a person in your life, most likely a wicked person, someone who you may not even be aware is in fact wicked. the fact that the tree was very easy to take down could mean two things. one, this person can easily be elliminated from you life resulting in the termination of an unwanted negative aspect that is affecting you. Also it could mean that you may be threatened or intimidated by this person, but deep down you posses more strength than you are aware of and have potential to be a stronger person than you are, and in order to become this person you must start by ridding the evil people in your life.

THANK YOU, very encouraging input. I didn't make note of that part of the dream, having strength to rip out the tree with my bare hands that I didn't know had that kind of strength in them! This makes see clearly now and more pecisely, thanks again. This also suggests the lack of any assistance so I don't need to get help from other people which I was thinking about doing but can undertake this myself and rip out the problem by the roots easily.
