need help with very puzzling dream...

Hey, I'm new on this forum (I'm an adult, female). I had a very weird dream last night and it's really puzzling me: I dreamed that I was in a house where I lived with a woman who was more powerful than me, she was a witch and was draining my blood from me and drinking it, I was terrified, my mum was there but she was looking away like she couldn't see me. I managed to escape with the help of an older man thin, dressed in a suit and intelligent, a sort of magician, but not powerful, just clever and a bit silly, a sort of street magician...I feel there is something I need to do but I don't understand what...

PS: I had as a child recurrent nightmares of being chased by a witch in a huge library...maybe there is a link?
