Witnessing a Plane Crash

Hi there

I dreamed that I was standing in my backyard and watched a plane in the sky in trouble - it was flying low, upside down, then managed to correct itself, but then started spinning, plumeting toward the ground. It crashed into our front yard, on its tail end and bounced through the yard, over the side fence where it laid, mangled. No one died, I grabbed the phone and called emergency services while helping get the injured out. My family were there helping me. I was afriad of the plane catching fire or exploding.

Does anyone have any insight on this dream?

Hi,
You often read about plane crashes or see them on the news. When you have to be woken from sleep for some reason your subconscious uses the drama of the plan crash to wake you up!
I had many plane crash dreams and know the exact reason why they happen in my sleep.
My guess is that you needed to change your sleeping position, or probably needed to turn over in bed. The dramatic effect of the plane crash actually turns you over in bed, and when you take up a more comfortable sleeping position, the dream becomes calmer and less dramatic.
