China and Cinnamon

I dreamt that I was in China in a very authentic style restaurant. I was a guest of the management and was standing around as the restaurant filled up.
A white gentlemen was at a table of 8 to 10 Chinese and spoke with me saying he would introduce me around town. I was greatful, honored and excited to get the inside tour of the town and culture.
He wrote down his phone number on the corner of a scrap of paper.
Next thing I remeber after a calamity there of some kind , he died or a fire I guess, was that I discovered a layer of cinamonn sticks moving in a soldierlike fashion under the tablecloth or false table top,which had been removed from where he was seated.
They were rolling paralell to each other covering 3/4 of the large table top, and moving as they burned to curled white ash and dust, moving across the table burning and enveloping the brown cinnamon sticks cinnamon sticks. After a couple of cycles of this they burned out completely to ash...
Imagine a circle (the table top) that had rows of brown cinamon sticks moving, like old cheap style animation, and a gradual sweeping burning to ash going from one end to the other burning everything to ash.
I felt as though I had unearthed a spell of some kind.
Any thoughts?

If dreamt was eating cinnamon means a greater sorrow.
If dreamt was eating cinnamon for curing an illness and was useful means he will receive a goodness.

What about all the other detail, burning, China, the white man in China with me as the only other white man?

The cyclical burning ? Uncovering this all under a flase table top?

The movement of the non living cinamon sticks?

Sorry , your answer was a little generic for all the detail I gave.

I thought the dream was unique and rich in depth and symbolism, perhaps a personal quest for contact or search for a liason into the unknown.

Sorrow is not necessarily a death.
What was burning the cinnamon sticks or something else?

Ash means a false money that won't remain.
If one dreamt he collected ash and it vanished means he will receive some false money and won't remain.
It may also mean that will learn a science that has no benefits. Abraham/18.
Ash may also mean : 1- a scientist that is not accepted by people.
2- immoral money 3- false and vain speech 4- enmity 5- corruption and sins 6- deceiveness and trickery 7- regrets 8- remorse.

When you dream about a restaurant you can be fairly sure that the dream was caused by some food you eaten the night before!

This part of your dream indicates that something cinnamon like gave you indigestion and heartburn!

Your subconscious is clearly indicating that your heartburn was caused by some food you eaten, however at the same time your subconscious lays on a show to entertain you and stop you from waking up. If you read Shakespeares Timon of Athens you might have an idea what I mean!
Indigestion abates after a few hours but while it lasts it can give you hellish dreams!
