Default It was Che Guevara in a pool with a chair

I had a dream the other night that I was coming up to a pool and saw a group of Latin American officials sitting in a circles of pool chairs. The only one I remember was Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez. A white American in a business suit was behind him looking like a complete outsider. I knew in my dream that for some reason he did not like being touched on his right shoulder, only his left but the white guy did not know this and did it anyways and pissed him off. (I'm thinking this alludes to his leftist tendencies.) I came up behind him and was teasing him, knowing he would not do anything to me and I tapped him on both shoulders, then sat down in the chair to his right. We were all laughing and joking briefly, then I hear steps behind me.

For some reason in the dream, I ignored the fact that Ernesto "Che" Guevara is actually dead. He looked to be about in his 30's, around the age that he died. I yelled to my "friends" that my father or relative was looking for me, for some reason referring to Guevara and I jumped into the pool. Note: I do not know why I jumped into the pool and did not stick around to talk to him. I hit the bottom of the pool and was looking up and Guevara comes down with a pool chair that he snatched and we began fighting to the death. I managed to get the chair away from him but I am not sure who won because everything faded. I think I started dreaming again after that.

Any thoughts? I am from the United States, by the way.

Hi,
A pool means a work place , perhaps in international level in this case.
You will tease the first president.
If a dead or deceased person was dreamt alive means his situation is good in the spirituals.
If he was in his her 30-40ies means he is in the heaven because in the resurrection day people will be in the same age to see their deeds.
You were fighting a dead for a chair means you will fight for a position against his will.

People i dreams symbolize thoughts and feelings. The dream deals with a very specific theme - a man who stands upto america. He may stand for some current thoughts in your own mindconcerning america. Perhaps linked to an economic downturn. Thoughts about americas place in the world. What thoughts went through your head the day before? what newsd items did you watch.

------------------------
Many dreams are about your current frame of mind. In some ways they are about your fantasies. We dream about how cool we will be in such and such a situation. In our dreams and fantasies we are Spiderman. Yet dreams are also realistic and will contain cryptic messages showing how we are becoming unrealistic in our thoughts. We allow ourselves to get carried away with how things will improve. In truth we are merely motivating ourselves. If we achieve half of what we want in our dreams then we are doing well. If you have been lying awake in bed and thinking about the day to come then that fantasy may appear in your dreams. The connection may not be obvious but it’s definitely there.

Generally an upbeat dream is likely to be about the future and how we are trying to get ourselves into the right frame of mind to tackle the problems and sitations in our lives.

Thank you for your response. It was very helpful.

Just to clarify, the dude was trying to kill me with the chair.
I felt almost like he was trying to get my attention or something, maybe not kill me. He was in a rage, but I remember feeling as if he was trying to accomplish something rather than just killing me, now that I think about it.

I keep up with current affairs in Latin America, except lately I have not been reading or listening to the news so much. As a background, I am a spanish speaker though not totally self-identified politically. I'm in the political closet.

Che Guevara did have a strained relationship with Castro before he died.
