Maybe you just miss her. I know my adopted mother died many years ago. She was a great source of advice and moral support. There are times I wish she were still here to be my guide when I don't know what to do. Other times, she just turns up in my dreams for reasons just unknown. In any case, I'm glad when she does. If it were me, I would choose to see the tears as joy and be happy your brain made her drop by .

my grandmother has 9 grandchildren.she took care of everyone but she never came to me to have grandmother and grand child talk and love.I always missed it .I was shy kid ,I nevr told my feelings to any one .she used to give gifts all the kids but not me .i hated her ignorance.so dint have a bond with her.But when she was old she used to complain about everyone ,i never heard her complains.
I miss her now because i think I would do a lot better than what I did when she was alive .may be i would have heard her feelings /complaints more seriously than i did.may be I would not eat a dinner after I heard her death ,i have done so many mistakes and no more second chance wish to have her back badly becuase i dint listen her compains /feelings .I love her because she once cried for me when i was a child .But then I just have to learn and leave because we have to move with the life ,it shows you cant change anything.
I are lucky you have so many things to remember.
