Hi there,
last night I had a very weird dream. I dreamt that me and God sat in this very big room and played chess. We were talking about how the chess pieces reresent live, but i could only hear my voice, and I remember hearing that when the last one falls it's check mate. This seems to bother me a bit, can anyone please tell me what this mean? Thanks for your help. |

i don't know what your dream means, but a monk once told me that any dreams about God or Holy men are important, real and true.

Hi
well dreams about god are dreams like any other. They can mean lots iof things. All dreams need to be interpreted. However, its unfortunate that the only person who can truly interpret a dream is the person who had the dream. But I could give some tips. For instance many dreams simply recall your present state of mind,. They are like a short play which replays current emotions or key points in your thinking. This dream features philosophy and strategy. How were such themes involved in your thinking at the time of the dream. Also god is an all powerful being who controls everything. Therefor you maybe capturing a mood when you wanted to have such control in your life. We all sometimes wish for such moments So try to think through those little moods and thought processes. Also think of little incidents the day before that follow such themes of philosophy and strategy. They maybe the triggger to this dream ------------------------ Many people write dream diaries. But actually it would be better if they wrote a normal diary. A diary is basically the highlights of the previous day and the things that are important to you. Dreams are exactly the same. Once understood they would symbolize those key moments and turning points in your feelings. So instead of interpreting the dreams try first to guess what the most likely issues are that you would dream about. Think of exactly the same things that you would write in a diary. Once decoded the dreams would symbolize exactly what you think on the key subjects dominating your mind. Think of quotes that capture your feelings such as "my father seems very quiet. I think that something is very wrong. He often starts going quiet when something happens". You may not be able to understand the exact nature of the symbols. http://unclesirbobby.100mb.com/dreamessayhowtopost.php Interpreting dreams http://unclesirbobby.100mb.com/dreamessayhowto.php Triggers for dreams http://unclesirbobby.100mb.com/dreamessay.php Dream dictionary |

Hi,
Playing chess is interpreted as a lie and accusation. If one dreamt he was playing chess and he overcame the rival means he will overcome someone with the help of lie and a vain way. If dreamt the rival was the winner means someone will accuse him and his job will be useless. Good luck.

Interesting dream. Are you a religious person? If so, you should probably view it in the context of your faith.
Consider a few things. In a checkmate, the king is helpless, captured (by some misconceptions "the king is dead"). God is synonymous with king in many religions. On this level it could be talking about some sort of faith crisis. Or as unclesirbobbyrobson stated, it could be a more mundane seeking of control over your life. In this case God would be your higher self trying to tell you something or warn you. You've got to free associate on a few of the things. Are the chess pieces pieces of your life? or are they people in your life? Is your life "falling to pieces" in some way? Or are you letting some situation checkmate you emotionally? You are only checkmated if you *let* things fall apart. |
