Default Can dreams be contagious?

...or to put it more correctly ...Can dreams be passed on from one person to another?

Let's say two people have a strong connection to each other...Do you believe it is possible for them to have similar dreams on the same night?

Hi,

I want to tell you a reason to know that 5 senses can't understand anything except by the soul,
Have you dreamt you were eating and drinking and had pleasure of that. He said yes. I said: have you dreamt laughing and crying, and strolling in the cities that haven't seen yet but you know the specialties. He said: yes dreamt very much. I said: Have you ever dreamt about your dead brother or father and know them like they are alive.
He said: yes too many times. I said: tell me which sense has received such things to see the dead and talking to them or crying and laughing. He said: I can’t say which one. Because the body is slept like a dead. I said: tell me when you wake up don’t you remember and report to the friends exactly, He said; yes and sometimes I see that before night in real life. I said; which sense keeps it to remember the dream after waking. He said; there is no way for sense. I said then you should know because senses are vein here that is the soul that God has put wisdom in it and it is a reason. He said; what I dream is like mirage one thinks it is water but when arrive at there is nothing. I said; how do you say it is like mirage and you ate sweets and pickles and were happy and sad he said; because what I dream when I arrive at it is nothing. I said: have you ever had sex in the dream and your hearts beat, have you ever had wet dream about a woman or man. You know him or don’t know He said many times said had you orgasm and when you woke up you were wet then this is not mirage.
He said: dreaming orgasm is just like the real life .I said this is my reason that soul. Knows everything although senses are dead and can’t see or hear of course you shouldn’t deny that soul in addition of the senses knowledge recognition in the waking life and after vanishing the senses has sex with them then it recognizes the things after going senses and now you understand that the itself is guiding the senses and is their governor and none of the senses can’t do anything without soul; if the soul goes a head body wasn’t get back and if soul gets back the body won’t go ahead with the soul the happiness comes and with it the ache is received if a sense is damaged the soul is remained but if the soul is damaged senses can work properly.

Good luck.

Hi Pasion Spirit,
Are you asking about mutual dreaming? Some people belive in them!
However dreams are always about what is happening in your own sleep. Two people can have similar dreams by co-incidence. It is also possible for family members to have similar dreams if they it the same food before they go to bed. The digestive system is a major cause of bad dreams! If two friends discuss the same subject it is possible they might dream about it.
Cheers Wolfjk

It is possible for two people who are exposed to the same feelings or events in waking life to dream using the same symbolism or even have exactly the same dream. This occurs because the mind often uses a universal symbolism. This symbolism is common and understood because everyone is of the same species and uses close to exact symbolism to portray similar subconscious thoughts and messages in dreams. This is especially prevalent among people of the same basic social background, cultural background or religious background who experience the same events...

Hi Sailrmc,
I think you are stretching this symbolism issue a bit too far! Symbolism is influenced by the the fact that we are all human, butthere is a great deal of difference between races, religions, nations, regions tribes families and individuals. Experience shapes the symbols the subconscious uses most, each dream is mainly related to the dreamers experience in life. One can't use the same symbol for two different persons as they might mean different things to each of them.
Here Ends lecture 9999......!
Cheers wolfjk

Hi there,

You mean telepathic dreams ?
Yes, I think they are possible. As you said, when there is a strong bond between the two dreamers. These usually occur within members of the same family.

Cheers !

YES

People can have shared dreams. To me I think this forms the basis of telepathy.

Apparently in corsica there is a culture of shared dreams. Everyone decides to have a dream on a certain subject. then they interpret the dreams togethyer. the strange thing is that tourists and others who do not speak the language seem to have dreams which seem quite similar.

------------------------
Many people write dream diaries. But actually it would be better if they wrote a normal diary. A diary is basically the highlights of the previous day and the things that are important to you. Dreams are exactly the same. Once understood they would symbolize those key moments and turning points in your feelings. So instead of interpreting the dreams try first to guess what the most likely issues are that you would dream about. Think of exactly the same things that you would write in a diary. Once decoded the dreams would symbolize exactly what you think on the key subjects dominating your mind. Think of quotes that capture your feelings such as "my father seems very quiet. I think that something is very wrong. He often starts going quiet when something happens". You may not be able to understand the exact nature of the symbols.

I have no idea but the law of probability says its highly unlikely. I believe that a person can control what they dream if they choose, so if two people have a close personal relationship and they had previously discussed the dream, they could repeat the same dream simultaneously in an effort to be close to one another. Anything is possible I guess
