I had the dream of a bug. Or initially thought its a bug, later realized it was a spider. Quite small, about 1/2 inch, but it seemed like a miniature version of one of the larger spiders with thin long legs. so my spider had legs that were hair thin.
I picked it up, took into the house. once i flipped the lights on, it turned into a 1/2 inch white rat with black tail. Turned the lights off, it turned to a spider. After doing it a couple of times, the spider started flaming before it converts to a rat. At one point the spider is glowed in green color in the dark. I have no idea what it means. It didnt seem like a bad dream or a good dream, pretty neutral but it caught my attention pretty well. Can someone help me understand what it means or how i should interpret it. Thanks |

a very interesting dream to me...I will copy and paste and comment(in blue) on each line or group of them.
I had the dream of a bug. Or initially thought its a bug, later realized it was a spider. Quite small, about 1/2 inch, but it seemed like a miniature version of one of the larger spiders with thin long legs. so my spider had legs that were hair thin. The spider usually represents a person who you would rather stay away from, but you can't seem to. You feel caught up or trapped by this person in real life. In your case it takes an interesting turn...very interesting. I picked it up, took into the house. once i flipped the lights on, it turned into a 1/2 inch white rat with black tail.the person that this critter represents in your waking life is recognized in a "different light" (pun intended) by your waking life awareness (the conscious mind) than it is recognized by your subconscious mind (same as dreaming mind). Turned the lights off, it turned to a spider. The lights off represents the subconscious minds perspective (the spider). The subconscious is telling you that the person that you see as a pest (a rat), is really someone that you would like to avoid but cannot seem to avoid. You are caught up in an interpersonal relationship with someone that you wish could simply go away and leave you alone. After doing it a couple of times, the spider started flaming before it converts to a rat. representing the process' that are at work. There has apparently been a a matamorphasis of sorts, a transition from this person who simply buggs you to someone that you feel is repulsive, someone who is underhanded...etc. At one point the spider is glowed in green color in the dark. The spider is considered to be someone who was envious of you in some way....green with envy. I have no idea what it means. It didnt seem like a bad dream or a good dream, pretty neutral but it caught my attention pretty well. It appears as if you have lost trust in this person. Now overlay what I have said to your life and you should be able to tell just who or what the representation is about. sailrmc |

Perhaps you dreamt this dream in one of those nights when you were stressed or had some problem with your health. The dream indicates that you had some problem waking up. Seeing light and colours in dreams is the way the subconscious mind tries to connect to your brain. Light and colour represent the basic quantum energy that regulates the level of consciousness. In a way, when you see light and colour it raises the level towards waking. The idea of a bug changing into a spider then into a rat, plus the colour of back and white are also units of quantum energy that raise the level of consciousness. The fact that you needed the colours and ideas to bring you to wakefulness indicate that you were very much "down" in your sleep. In waking life it would correspond to a time when you feel very tired and lethargic and just can't snap out of it! Cheers Wolfjk
