Strange and vivid Dream

Hi all

I'm new here but i've registered as i'm regularly having very detailed and slightly mad dreams. I used to just dream and then forget about it but they are really sticking in my brain of late and i'm hoping someone can tell me what they mean.

The latest one was last night. Again, it was incredibly vivid.

I was visiting friends - not people I actually know in my real life but people I was obviously very comfortable being around. I walked into the very old house and the old chap I was talking to told me to go down the stairs to the garden as everyone was there.

As I went down the very old wooden spiral staircase I noticed that water was getting deeper and deeper. When it got to my neck I was confused as to what to do next. The old guy told me that if I put my head under the water and took a big gulp of it, I would be able to breath under water.

In my dream I completely trusted this guy, so tentatively put my head under the water. I felt the water rush into my lungs - it was a little uncomfortable to start with but I knew straight away that I could breathe and swam down into the house.

The house looked exactly like a normal house with normal furnishings but the whole place was under water.

I then got to the garden and let myself out into it still marvelling at being able to breathe under water. The garden seemed to have some sort of vertical shield holding the water in and as soon as I passed through this I needed to cough up the water in my lungs as it was choking me.

At this point I was back into normal breathing air and joined all my friends (again not people I know in real life) for a barbecue but I was really looking forward to going back into the water.

Does anyone know what this means? Do I just need locking up?

It's very good dream. It means your own unconscious (the Old Man, the Water etc.) is connecting with you.

Going down a wooden stairs means losing dignity and morals.
Going deep into water means receiving some power from a partner.( house).
Garden means your job or partner.Coughing means complaining someone.
