i dreamt i got shot..

i dreamt that me and a few people that i didn't know where held captive in a house, i called the police but they didn't come. we were made to lie down on the ground and i got shot 5 times in different places of my body but i didn't feel much pain. after that i was raped. then later in the dream i had escaped and i was walking to school although i finished school 2years ago. i saw some of my friends and i broke down crying. they asked what was wrong and i said i had been held captive and had been shot 5 times. they didn't seem too shocked and we carried on walking.

could someone please analyze this as i feel quite strange about it. i also had a similar dream last week..
i got shot in the shoulder but felt no pain, then later in the day (in my dream) i was taking part in some sort of workshop and i apologized to the other people saying "sorry i'm abit slow - i've been shot in the shoulder" i said this like it wasn't a big deal and i was fine haha.

anyones ideas about what these dreams mean would be much appreciated thanks!

Observation and experience point to thefact that dreams do definite tasks in sleep, rather than mean this or that or symbolise any particular thing.
In sleep you either simulate or actually make the movements the dream suggests.
