lucid dreaming anyone?

I frequently have dreams where I am watching myself in the dream - kind of like I'm watching my own dream in a movie theater. The part of me watching is completely aware of everything that's going on, I'm concious; while the part of me in the dream is only aware of her perspective in the dream. This morning while having one of these, for the first time my concious self made physical contact with my dream self - I warned her about something. Has this happened to anyone else? I don't know how to react to it...
