Hello, I was just wondering if anyone knows what my recurring dreams mean. Every few weeks/months I have a dream that I have given birth to a child, but that the child is very small, about as big as the palm of my hand, in most of these dreams the child is ill and I cannot look after him/her or I leave them somewhere or forget about them. These dreams upset me alot and I was hoping someone would have an idea of what it means? I have had this dream on and off for the last year or so with variations but the same theme.
I dont have any children but I do want children, do you think this means, I cant have them or will be a bad mother? I would really apprieciate a response. |

Our dreaming mind has somewhat of a priority list, as to issues that is addresses and when they should be scheduled for comment (via our dreams).
Number one priority is FEAR. The subconscious addresses our fears before it gets involved in anything else in our life. Fears can dominate our minds to the extent of affecting every aspect of our life. In your case anxiety about having a normal baby may be really getting to you when it comes to the subject of having children. The dream suggests that you have a fear of first of all having a baby that may not be normal or healthy, then as to how you might handle such a situation. Dreams like this even though they are uncomfortable give you the insight to correct thought processes concerning parenthood (and even giving birth to such a child). They activate the "what if" column of the mind that will help you to question how this might be prevented in real life. It conditions you to do the right things to minimize such an outcome when you do decide to become pregnant. I can tell that it has really gotten your attention and that you will be more likely as a result of these dreams, to educate yourself and get good prenatal support. The tragedy conveyed in the dream allows you to understand that having a baby is not just something to do because everybody else might be having them, it is a lifelong commitment, one that is of unconditional love. Above all the innuendo is that perhaps you may not be ready at this time, for the responsibility. sailrmc |

Hi,
No, not a bad mother or anything, dreams are symbolic and should be interpreted: Please see which of the following scenarios fitwith your dreams: If one dreamt a woman gave birth to a baby girl means she will receive goodness and happiness by the relatives . The counsel/49 . If dreamt she gave birth to a baby boy means she will have a sorrow. If a man dreamt his wife gave birth to a baby boy : 1- if she is pregnant means they will have a baby boy.2- if she is not pregnant means the man will earn something with a big labor. If a man dreamt his wife gave birth to a baby girl they will have a goodness and benefits. If a king's or a president's wife dreamt she gave birth to a baby girl means her husband will have a big windfall or a treasure. But if dreamt she gave birth to a baby boy means they will have a sorrow and anxiety . If a man dreamt he gave birth to a baby girl means he will get poor and will have a sorrow. If a man dreamt he gave birth to a baby boy means he will do something and will have some good fame. If a virgin girl dreamt she gave birth to a girl means she will get poor , if a baby boy means she will have some good fame. If a woman dreamt she gave birth to baby boy and spoke immediately to him means there is a danger for her. If dreamt she gave birth to a baby girl and spoke to her means the baby 's child will be the family's headman.

Most dreams contain messages that serve to teach us something about ourselves. Unfortunately many a times we forget what we dream about as we go about our daily routine. With recurring dreams, the message may be so important and/or powerful that it just will not go away. The frequent repetition of such dreams forces you to pay attention and confront the dream. The dream is trying desperately to tell you something. Such dreams are often nightmarish or frightening in their content, which also helps you to take notice and pay attention to them.
Recurring dreams are quite common and are often triggered by a certain life situation or a problem that keeps coming back again and again. These dreams may recur daily, once a week, or once a month, but whatever the frequency, there is little variation in the dream content itself. It usually points to a personal weakness, fear, or your inability to cope with something in your life - past or present. The repetitive patterns in your dream can reveal some of the most valuable information on yourself. It may point to a conflict, situation or matter in your waking life that remains unresolved or unsettled. Or some urgent underlying message in your unconscious is demanding to be understood. Following are some tips in overcoming your recurring dreams. 1. In understanding your recurring dream, you must be willing to accept some sort of change or undergo a transformation. 2. You must be willing to look within yourself and confront whatever you may find no matter how difficult it my be. 3. You must be able to look at the dream from an objective point of view. Try to get pass the emotional and reactive elements of the dream and get down to the symbolic images. Many times dreams are masked by elements that are disturbing preventing you to delve any deeper. This is a defense mechanism that your unconscious may be putting up. 4. Be patient. Do not get discourage if these dreams still recur even after you thought you have come to understand them. 5. Learn to accept yourself truly and fully. Often times, once you discover what your recurring dream is trying to tell you, these dreams will change or altogether disappear. i am new at this, but from personal dreams and very Kean insight. i would say you are having a hard time conceiving and you fear you are weak and frail and forget to take care of things perhaps your self. have you read the secret? read it go to bed at night telling your self you are fertile. your womb is a study basket. think about eating a ripe juicy pear when you take a bite the juice runs down your hands, over flowing with nourishment and nutrients. ever notice how people adopt and they conceive? they are full of life and love and content. read the secret and go to sleep in this mind frame your dreams will change. ![]() |
