Recurring Elements

Well this is a little weird actually... i'm not sure what it means but im sure it must have some sort of significant meaning to my life. Ever since I was a little kid there have been certain features that have recurred in more then one dream. When I was much much younger I used to have a recurring dream where two, older kids (teens... i was only 4 or 5 at the time) would walk into an area where all the buildings were roman style and pure white. The ground was tiled and pure white. The grass was more green then I have even ever seen it now at 18 years old. The boy teen held his hands cupped to the sky and opened them. Then a white dove flew out of his hands and into the sky. Moments later he would tap the teenage girl on the shoulder and point to the dove in the sky saying "Look at the bird" as if he had never seen it before.

Also, since I was about 11 or 12, 2 children have appeared in my dreams. There is a girl with a backwards hat who has dirty blonde messy hair and her little brother who has a red baseball cap and black hair. The girl is about my age every time and the brother is always the same age... around 9 or 10. These same characters appear in several dreams. I am good friends with the girl and her little brother seems to tag along but i get along with him. One dream they were in we were being hunted by men with sunglasses and black suits. The little brother went into a warehouse building and although i didnt see him murdered because me and his sister didnt go in until after and it was too dark to see, we knew he was. I was being chased by the guys in the suit and me and the girl has powers to turn the water solid to walk on it and jump over huge gaps in bridges. Suddenly the girl disappeared though and i was alone. Where I was shot in the @$$ later and died from it i assume because I woke up. Another dream all I remember was that I was in the town my dad used to live in and I kept trying to explain to the girl and her brother that it was a dream and they didnt believe me. Eventually they convinced me it was real.

I know this stuff must have some meaning...

Are you aware of any significant childhood trauma, around the ages of 9-12? I don't want to scare or alarm you, but from my own personal experiences, that's what it sounds like the recurring images are trying to tell you...if it's something you have been repressing, the best thing you can do for yourself is try to remember.
