vivid dream

This was the most vivid dream I've had for a while, and it stuck in my mind for days. It's long, prepare yourself.

I was taking my family and friends to an art show, one that I'd been entered in in real life but hadn't won anything. We were on the bottom level of the building and a guy first explained the rules about having cameras. He said that there was something special on the top floor, so we decided to go look. To get to each floor, instead of using stairs, there was a connecting room between the floors that had a cord that you moved along. There was an ongoing sort of 'story' in pictures that continued among the floors, and the pictures were in the cord rooms. Each floor was just one large themed room. For example on theme was a 'child's dream' and there were giant flowers. Another was the sun, the room was red and orange and yellow.

One large floor had a jungle theme. My family had continued on to the top floor but I liked the theme rooms so I stayed back. In the jungle room you were just supposed to go across a wooden bridge to the next room, and surrounding it was the jungle and a river below. My other friends decided to jump off the bridge into the river. I was talking to one friend about whether I should or not. I said I didn't know if I should jump or not. She said she didn't know either. I said no, I'm talking about in this room, not in real life. The friend jumped. I was afraid because I knew the river and the room itself wasn't real- it was just a room made to look like a jungle. But I saw my friends resurface in the river and they told me it was wonderful- "like swimming in a dream." I jumped and we swam, then went onto an island, and it was like paradise.

My brother came by and told me that our 'fact card' (don't know what that is exactly..) had been stolen by matt (a kid that goes to my school, he's older than me and not my friend, more of a 'popular' type), and I had to get it back. I said no, I was afraid of matt because he was the head of some evil organization, and had tried to kill one of my friends. My brother got mad and left. The sun was setting in the jungle and I got very sad and left. Later I saw Adam again, and he risked his life to get the fact card back himself. When we got it back some of the 'facts' on the card had been changed? and for some reason it was really scary.
