Detective Working on a Cold Case

I'm a dectective working on a murder case that is cold. The victim's body cannot be located, but I have a tip that I might find some skeletal remains in a crate. When I locate the crate it is full of muddy water. I stick my hands in and begin to pull out things such as cogs and pieces of machinery. Then at the very bottom, the water clears and I am pulling up human bones. Finally, in the bottom of the crate are the clothes that the victim wore which was a yellow sweater and jeans.
