Am in bed with wife ( now deceased) ,we are both much younger and talking.
Suddenly, she becomes very agitated and leaps from the bed, recoiling in horror.
I also leap out and take off the covers to reveal a little old, cloaked presence
( female?) whose features are only partially visible. sitting cross legged on the bed.
This person requests an apple which I get and sits with a butter knife. I and my wife are transfixed. This person emanates power. My wife and I are totally in thrall to this being.

Then I wake up.


Sounds like bad Stephen King but was disturbing enough.

This dream I can't understand, but I remember another dream of you getting mad with your mom if I'm right.

Your conscience seems to have come into play during the dream when your subconscious seemed to recognise that continuing to remember those prime times with your late wife might seem immoral now that she is dead. The dream might also suggest that you may have a close relationship currently in your life. It also indicates that you have not overcome her loss.
