burning someone alive

Ok.. I had this dream years and years and years ago.. but I always wondered about it..

At the time I was dating my first love.. we were in love..

So.. Im surround by people.. no one recognizable..in my dream I know my boyfriend is in the other room, by hisself. The people want me to go there.. and do something that I dont want to.. Im confused and mad and sad.. I walk to the room.. open the door.. He's smiling.. I walk to his side, he is laying down on this table.. I tell him I dont want to this.. this isnt the way.. He tells me it has to be done.. and that I can do it... so I light his legs on fire... He just stares at me.. His legs are burning... I see blood and bones.. and I freak... I put the fire out... I start screaming crying.. This is crazy your all crazy.. this isnt the way! He tells me its ok... I walk out the room, Im crying... a person walks right past me.. straight into the room and right back out... I ask him furiously... what did you do??? WHAT DID YOU DO... I start running.. Im running up stairs when I hear him SCREAM.. the most murderous... the most awful noise Ive ever heard... I wake up.. Im crying...

It was the craziest thing ive ever dreampt next to the most recent exploding lemur....

Well dreams can link to reality. They are often very much ion the here and now. Do you feel under pressure to behave in a certain way or do certain things with your bf? It sounds as if it possesses a sexual content. There would appear to be some cultural or social pressure on you to consummate this relationship of yours but you are not ready for this and you are angry and upset that you have been cajoled into meeting or having to confront this obligation. It sounds as if the experience was an unpleasant one.

In dreams we can do things that we could never get away with in real life. Burning him shows that you caused change in his life and he was not expecting it. Likely you left him at that time because of control issues.

I had a similar dream a few years ago. There was a woman whom was my neighbor and I burnt her until her body was black and then mutilated her body and hid the body parts. Only thing is I felt very very very guilty. I think that is important. It is something you would never do in real life which is why it appears in your dreams. In dreams we have complete freedom. Our brains were probably just toying with the idea of what murder might feel like because it is something we could not expiriment with in our own lives.
