This is a little weird for me because this has never happened before. about 3 weeks age I had this dream that I was awake in my bead I couldn’t move speak or do anything......but I could see and that lasted for a while. I would try to yell and call for help but nothing came out. All of a sudden I could move and my heart was pounding fast and I was all sweaty. First of all that scared the **** out of me.............two weeks later it happened again. the exact same dream. Now yesterday which would be about 4 weeks later the same thing happened again. I was sleeping on my back and I couldn’t move speak or do anything. However above me on the ceiling above me there was a big ass hole about the size of a 30in rim and all I could see was the sky and some palm trees......WTF. So I tried to move again and I couldn’t however because all I could look at was the hole above me it started to slowly fade away and re-patch itself then when the hole was gone I could move again...........I have never had these kinds of dreams before I have no idea what the hell that means. If someone else has experienced the same thing I would like to know.
Thanks |

Hmmmm very interesting.......the fact the you are completely unable to do anything but see, maybe you are trying to change a situation that you have no control over, possibly trying to take on someone elses problems?? But in the end the problem is THEIRS and you have to let them deal with it....

You said you awake in your dream, lying on the bed unable to move, etc. Were you aware at this precise moment that you were dreaming? And did you feel any struggle in trying to wake up if you were aware?

You have experienced what is known as sleep paralysis which is sometimes accompanied by lucidity of dream, that is, that they are often life-like and you are aware that you are dreaming. It is a common feature and I have never heard of harm arising from it.

I have had this dream many many times through out my life. I have not had it recently though. I never really thought of it as a dream, because I felt like it was so real. In fact, I am convinced that I had (or have) some type of sleep apnea and that maybe I was holding my breath and that is why I couldn't move. I would also grit my teeth. Those were some rough nights of (non) sleep. Do you ever feel like you are floating or hoovering over your bed? Maybe you have sleep apnea or something similar.
