died with friends

I had a dream that I was in the passengers seat of my friends car. The car was filled with four people total, including 2 of my neighbors and my older sister. My neighbor was driving and he was swerving uncontrollably all over the windy road that i used to drive every day to get to my parents house (once my house). No one seemed to notice his crazy driving except for me. I was nervously grasping the sides of my seat, unnable to tell him that his driving was scaring me. The general mood of everyone (except for me) was content and cheerful. The music was playing, it was a sunny, spring day.

All of a sudden, he swerves off the road, and we fall down a huge cliff into the creek below.

We plummet in slow motion. I remember watching his face (my neighbors, the drivers) to see how he felt about the situation. He was still smiling, as if on 'pause'. It seemed like we were falling for hours and hours.
All in all, I was very excited to die. I felt a calm during that desent, a clarification of sorts, that has stayed with me in my waking hours. I felt a sort of, 'Finally!' reaction. A period to the end of a sentence.
When we hit the water, i cringed, and then i felt washed with a peace i can hardly forget. All of my troubles and stresses were gone. I was floating.
