Default Brother not really dead

Had a short dream that my mother, one sister and I were in my room cleaning out my closet in my house. My brother (dead from a motorcycle accident a few years ago) walked in. We were shocked. I said "You're not dead." very calmly. He said no. We were all very happy and we were asking him to sign something to prove he wasn't dead and he agreed. As my mother and sister were getting something for him to sign I asked if he wanted his things back (i.e. I still have his jacket from when he was fifteen - he died at 30). I woke up.

My brother's death was a shock and each March I literally have a mini breakdown (continual unexpected crying, depression, etc.). After March I am fine. My brother left a wife and 4 children (ranging from 3 to 11).

What does this mean? Any help?

Default Well...

It seems that (from dreams and reallity) you aren't /fully/ able to cope with his death. You knew he was dead, and yet you did everything in your power to prove yourself wrong so he'd be alive. Him saying 'No.' to your question is you wishing he was still alive, but him not having time to give you proof; i.e: signature, or giving his stuff back, is you trying to let go.
Some mixed feelings, hopefully you'll figure it out.

Hi,
My condolences,
If a deceased person said I'm not dead means he has a good situation in the spirituals.
If you give something to a passed away person means that kind of cloth will be expensive or that kind of job won't be done or a money loss.

I agree that you have difficulty letting go, both from what you have said and from the dream symbolism. The act of cleaning out the closet is representative of the fact that you are due for some resolution, or emotional maintenance to address some baggage from the past. Your brother showing up, is the way that the subconscious mind is introducing that which needs priority resolution or emotional maintenance. The fact that you were ready to give your brother back his stuff (in a heartbeat) shows that you are ready for him to be back alive and into your life (and right now). Sure we would take most anyone that we love and who has passed back into our lives in a heartbeat if possible. You still have a difficult time with this and it is shown.

The good news is,
Your dream, is a visitation dream, one that shows that he is alive within you. Nobody can ever take this from you. The mind records, in an intricate fashion, every waking detail of our life and it knows how you feel and will even likely offer help or mentor-ship from your brother via your dreams when you need it.
The fact that your mom and the sister who were cleaning out the closet with you are perhaps a bit more accepting of the reality and the finality of his departure.
