Wink bazaar animal dreams

I have been having the most bazaar dreams over the past couple of nights and was wondering if anyone can help unravel them for me.

The first dream I had involved meeting up with an old friend (who I had big falling out with in real life); she was showing me round her new home then we went outside and every thing looked slightly magical with hills and colourful scenery. Then a strange girl levitated from the grass, and sort of exploded (not in a gruesome way). After she exploded, hundreds of rabbits fell from the sky onto the hills and ran off into the distance.

The second dream also involved the same girl who I fell out with years ago; she was busy working at her desk and didn't seem too happy to see me. I've forgotten most of it but moving further into the dream, I came across a pond or shallow waters with otters swimming around close together. I knelt down and one of the otters became friendly and climbed into my arms and I carried it round with me for the rest of dream. It took me a while to figure out it was an otter but it felt like the most perfect little thing and I loved it!

I've looked in dream dictionary's etc and both rabbits and otters apparently spell good fortune - I hope its right as could do with some good luck!

Do you think the fact that I am dreaming about this person repeatedly has any significance?

I'm going through quite a rough patch at the moment (career wise) and was wondering if this was making my dreams more surreal and memorable. I must say I'm enjoying them though!

Rabbits in a dream are typically a positive symbol, especially if you feelings or emotions that were not negative when you encountered them. In a positive dream the rabbits represent sexual desires and fertility that might be hiding in the unconscious mind. I do not know what this person that you had a run in with in the dream means to you but keep in mind that the rabbits also can mean insecurities, inferiority, and anxieties building. In your dream the lady exploding into rabbits represents those things that you associate with your one time friend. One perspective would be that perhaps your friend might have scared you away? Perhaps there was talk of babies, etc...leading to insecurities.
The dream was meant for you and not for outsiders. The dreaming mind knows exactly caused your disassociation with your friend and therefore it does not need to put symbolism in the dream telling why there was a falling out...you already know (the point is that since it is not in the dream an outsider like me can only speculate.
As well you are being told that your intent to meet or reunite with your friend would be to rekindle a "playful" relationship, one that you cherished. Apparently this was a very close friend.

Any change in life, seems to incubate dreams. When one is somewhat down the subconscious mind tries to compensate, to make the dreamer feel a bit better, especially since waking life is no fun (at this time).

Hi,
Rabbits are many girls around.
A pool means a work place and shallow water means less money.
Otters are thief people to one you have a friendship.

Hi Sailrmc,

Many thanks for responding. Yes, you are right in thinking that my friend was close at the time and I did attempt to rekindle the friendship but received a cold response. I am quite a sensitive person and do not like the idea of being disliked by others. I'm guessing that i'm dreaming about this person since I envy the fact that she is in a loving and stable relationship and has someone to share her problems with...which makes life easier during challenging times.
I have been single for quite some time now and it appears to be affecting me more than my conscious mind will admit!
I dont remember exactly how i felt when i saw the rabbits but i think it was a state of confusion more than happiness.

Hi Varzandeh,

Yes, shallow waters and less money makes perfect sense as my finances are low at the moment. I am not sure what you mean by otters are thief people and i cannot think of a bad friendship that i have at the moment but will keep my eyes open.

Thanks.
