My Own Grave

I was lying down on a gurney and my father was pulling me through the streets of a deserted town which was unfamilar to me. I seemed to be high in the air. Finally, he pulled me to a green grassy field on a hillside that was surrounded by green forests. In the middle of the field was a freshly dug grave with a solitary headstone. I felt like this was to be my grave, but I didn't feel afraid.

well dreamns represent conceptual ideas. so death and gravestones are symbolic. So look for such conceptual ideas floating around in your head right now. Especially ideas that seem compatible with these symbols. So where do you feel where some part of life life has become dead and buried.

It is the dream of social ostracism and of banishment by your family yet you are possibly happy to let others know that (in the words of the song) "I am what I am"! What your father should be saying is, this is my son of whom I am well pleased! Hopefully, circumstance will eventually favour you.

My parents and sisters have not banished me. In fact, they supported me greatly during a recent surgery even though my father had undergone surgery at the same time. On the other hand, my wife's brothers have little to do with her unless it benefits them which causes her much sadness.

Often dreams can capture your present frame of mind. Have you felt down about the surgery you had. Have you felt as if its a sign of ill health? Your father can symbolize whats to come. MAYBE you just felt as old as your father on this particular day and have started to realize your own mortality.

Sometimes is worth just ignoring all symbols. Then just strip down the dream to the emotions within it.
