A dream about being shot

I had a dream that I was in the living room, and someone I know, David (who I dated once and now am talking to again) was sitting there with his rifle (he collects rifles) and he shot me in the back of the head, and I was thrown out the front door, that turned into this lake. Except it wasn't in my point of view. All I saw next was darkness and I could literally feel myself rolling down a hill or something. Then I remember my ex Jon having myspace again and having four friends on his top. That's all. What does it mean?

Can someone please interpret this dream? It's really disturbing!

it seems a warning dream...be very cautious while dealing this person..he may cheat you which may affect you extremly...putting u in a situation with confusion and ignorence leading towards the dowhfall..

well dreanms do link to our emotions. If interpreted correctly they would link to intuitive thoughts about relationships and things like that. One good way to second guess a dream is to ask what intuitive thoughts have been dominating your mind.

Recently you have started to talking to jon again. Thats a good thing presumably in your mind. But maybe part of you is not really trustiung of this. Part of you maybe is still analysing what this means. With exs there is always a part of you thinking still of the ned of the relatinships and the bad emotions that link to that... who comes out OK and who was emotionally scared

The first thing that one should ask themselves when evaluating a dream for meaning is, is it something that is a real event. You are obviously alive and the answer to that aspect is clear. Next and not so obvious, would be to ask if you have done anything to cause the person depicted as killing you to want to harm you. If no then but one possibility in meaning (in my opinion). That would be the classic meaning that in some way this person has either hurt your feelings or you feel that he will hurt your feelings. Ask yourself why he could possibly want to hurt you (in a way of speaking). Why he would want to tell you off, spread rumors, or in some other way cause you trouble.

Again if the answers to those questions that I posed were no then you have nothing to worry about. If they were yes answers, then you have not revealed the whole dream because there were none of the classic symbols that intimate that this was a warning dream.

Many dreams seem real right down to detail of pain and emotions but they still must be considered for symbolic meaning first If there is not real life history or motive for this person to harm you physically then he has hurt you feelings or emotions.
