Default My son falling

I had a dream last night that I was in a house that I had never been before with my 14 month old son. I was lying in front of the top of the stairs while my son was trying to go down them backwards. Out of no where I got a feeling that some thing was about to go wrong and as i reached for my son he fell, when i looked over the top of the stairs i saw that there were stairs missing and watched my son bounce off them as he fell into the basement of the house. Then some how i was then downstairs, there was some one off in the corner that I did not recognize and had my son in my arms his face was all scratched up. I did not cry, or get upset i just sat there and stared at him. Then I woke up.

I'm sure people are going to think i am horrible, but it's been bothering me all day, not so much the dream but why i wasn't upset that my son was just hurt. I love my son with all my heart and do every thing in my power when i'm awake to make sure he's safe away from harm so I don't quite understand why i would dream some thing like that...
Some one PLEASE help me figure out what was meant from this horrible dream

Your dream confirms your love, concern, and protection for your son. Your apparent inability to cry indicates that you were suffering from shock. The other unseen presence could have been yourself (like a shadow in your dream) watching. It is as if you know that you were dreaming. It is not a predictive dream; it simply highlights that your son is the star in your life. Enjoy the greatest of life's pleasures.

Hi,
Dream about the immatured children, is about their parents , boys are about their father.
Falling stairs means his father won't achieve a wish.

If one dreamt fell face down means will have anxiety specially in a fight and enmity.
If dreamt fell from a height like a mount or a roof or a wall means he won't achieve his wish.*****************888
If dreamt fell down from a mount also means his situation will be bad and will be disappointed.
If dreamt fell down and was injured means will have a loss as much as bleeding.
If dreamt stumbled and fell means will have some pain.
If dreamt there was falling snakes and scorpions from his threshold means a sorrow from the government.
If dreamt ceiling or house walls collapsed over him means he will have an unexpected big benefit and an opening.

I think the missing stair steps were the key to the dream. Maybe you think you can't provide for your son the way you want to. Or something is missing in your childs life that you alone cannot give him, like grandparents, or the perfrect white house with the picket fence. Try to remember how many steps missing there were. Numbers are soo so important in dreams. I am not sure why you didn't cry in your dream, my mom dreampt she was about to get in a car accident and she screamed : I love you (my name). So i mean maybe you were in shock like someone else said above me.

Well dreams often replay situations from reality. You may seem callous in the dream... thats just maybe how you judge yourself. Often children need to experiment to learn. They often get into trouble. Soetimes children will exaggerate their difficulties. Mothers learn to sometimes let them just sit there.

"That printer. It cost a fortune and is always breaking down. I will never buy another Epson printer again. They are designed to break down". These were the exact feelings that one dream captured. Yet its only with experience that you can understand the symbolism. The topic was not linked to precisely.

We tend to link dreams to faraway places and other planes of existence. But once you understand dreams you will find out that they tend to link to feelings that are all too familiar. They capture immediate feelings about relationships or the general frustrations of life. The symbolism maybe diufficult to understand. But tahts simply because dreams talk in a language that we do not fully understand. That is made worse because dreams often make no attempts to help us understand their meaning.
