Can anyone tell me what my dream could possibly mean??

It started out with me living a normal life but I knew that sometime in the near future I would be executed in the electric chair. I remember being frightened and fearing my death, as well as comparing it to my fear of roller coasters. The dream ends being carried down the hallway to the room of my execution. I was trying to hang onto the walls and I was fighting the guards carrying me. I remember that I was crying and saying that I couldn't do it and begging them not to. I also kept saying that I couldn't even handle roller coasters let alone being executed.

I have no idea what any of that could mean but I woke up crying, scared, and extremely confused. If anyone could shed some light onto this that would be amazing.

execution is a way that the mind can show that a person is changing phases in his or her life, the death typifies the death of the old way of life that will not be present once change is made...however, death as in your dream can also exemplify a straight on meaning...that is the fear of death and dying coupled with possibly taking the blame for something that in real life, were outside your moral boundaries.

Hi, The main point of the dream is that for some reason you had to be woken up from the sleep. The problem must have been urgent and serious as your fear of rollercoasters was not quick enough to wake you, it had to be reinforced with the threat of execution!
It is not possible for me to point out the reason you had to be woken - even you might not know what felt wrong after the dream as dreams usually try to hide their reason.
It is likely that you either red, thought about, or seen a film of the executions before the dream and your subconscious used the experience to wake you.

well dreams use metaphors to describe prominent feelings currently in your mind. so what situation feels like a rollercoaster? What situation feels as if it will end badly for you?

Dreams are not really about facts. They are more about how you feel. Think especialkly of the day before the dream. Things alive in your mind then

To add to what sailrmc mentioned, I also think this dream is about change or having to make a decision where you may be unsure of all of the consequenses. The decision would or will be permanent and turning back might not be an option.

I had a similar dream of being executed but the electric chair was actually a couch and I could even feel the electric current going through my body! I never had to have it interpreted because I knew exactly what it was about: I had this dream the night after we made the decision to end life support for my father. No mystery there. . .did we do the right thing? Of course we had, but it was a pretty weighty decision.

Not saying you may be facing decisions this big but maybe this will get your mind going in the right direction to help you figure it out.
