chasing Hitler

I had this very bizarre dream the other night; I was a new recruit in this special forces team trying to apprehend Hitler. When we went to arrest him, he was at a fancy dinner party, he threw a beer can at my head. For some reason we had to then escort Hitler and his mistress to dinner and make sure they didnt get away. His mistress kept making a scene, throwing a tantrum because I would not let her go visit her friends, though she was actually trying to escape. While I was trying to stop her Hitler escaped out the door. My supervisor was standing there the whole time and would not help me, and I didnt know what to do. I dont remember the rest unfortunately. So what is the signficance of Hitler throwing a beercan at my head?

It might sound as if someone in your life does not like you but I suspect that the opposite is the case and the dream is probably about someone whom you possibly despise and whom may be preventing you from achieving something.

Well dreams use metaphors. Its really quite a simple metaphor. We often describe people as hitler. Who would you describe as hitler? In the dream you are trying to apprehend him yet end up escorting him. Maybe it symbolizes some workplace situation. Your gut feeling is one of hate yet because of prssure you have to side with hitler and even defend him.
