A dream about an unknown man

hi, a couple of weeks ago, i dreamt about my mom letting me and my siblings go to this abandoned place that she and her team study. the bottom area of this house is filled with water and there were large mice (living in water) that they are trying to hunt and kill. Because my siblings are young, my mom asked me to accompany them upstairs. And there, I saw an evil dark moth. The moth and I were fighting, as I was trying to protect my siblings, and I saw him turn into a man, a face I've never seen before. I saw some other people in the area all of a sudden,and then it or he was trying to possess them and I did my best to prevent it.

Suddenly, the abandoned building is gone, and I saw myself sitting in a room with glass walls. I am with my friends, and there is this old man sitting next to us. The moth guy was with him, and they were planning some bad thing. But I don't know what happened, but this moth guy was whispering to me, and told me everything that the old man plans. The old man was about to kill us all. We are to be transported to another place where we will be executed.

On our way there, the moth guy and I had grown close, and there was some sort of intimacy between us. He was devising a plan on how can he help us escape. I saw my boyfriend, too, with us, but my relationship with the moth guy continued.

Anyway, when we got to the place, the old man told us that we can rest a bit (we were on the parking lot). He told us that if we are planning to escape, he would kill instantly those that would remain, and the whole family of my friend. I felt so helpless, but then I suddenly realized that I am dreaming. and that I have dreamed this similar killing dream before, so I know what to do about it. But the emotion was really heightened,and I couldn't think clearly. and I did not want to go through the same dream again.

But I did not want to leave the moth guy either. I guess we fell in love with each other. I was crying when I told him that I am just dreaming. We hugged each other. I did not want to leave. I wanted to stay with him. But I knew I had to let go because that isn't real. We bid our goodbyes, hoping that we'll see each other again. Then I woke up.
