Since it was a short dream there is a short answer to it: You were feeling sick in your sleep and this dream woke you up! You might say that you were not actually sick after waking up, However you would have vomitted in your sleep if the dream did'nt wake you.
You have to look at what you ate, drunk or taken before the sleep that made you ill?
Cheers Wolfjk

There was a new idea or endeavor that has come to an end. Another words, consider it food for thought or case closed. Because there was not mention if the baby was dark or even foreign in origin this is something that you already are aware of.
Think of what could have come to a close...a relationship, an argument, a way of life...it was something that was rather new and now it is a dead subject or event.
Your thoughts?

This baby signifies to me a messy situation that you have not resolved but deep down would like to. It's almost as if you have a hunger (lunch tray) to clean up something. The baby could signify a new life that has entered your world. I would say that a friend that you held close or a loved one and you had a falling out and it was never quite resolved. So forgive and forget life is to short, everyone deserves a second chance.

Well dreams about babies often link to new life emerging into our own lives - new situations, new jobs, new relationships, new good health. It can relate to our hopes for the future. Ifg this is a dead and rotting baby then maybe AT THE TIME OF THE DREAM you felt as if some major new opportunities had now died and are starting to fester in your mind. Does anything seem to relate to such a state of mind

-----------------------------
The father of modern dream interpretation is not Freud or Jung but rather Jon Winson. But he never made a single dream interpretation. Instead he conducted research into the mind and established that certain brainwaves (theta waves) only appear during the night time. During the day we store up all new experiences and feelings in short term memory. Then at night we start to work through what happened the previous day and we integrate these into long term memory blocks. Then finally we clear short term memory blocks ready to start the process again the next day. Its likely that any dreams we have are linked to these brain functions. The weird images and feelings once deciphered capture our own feelings and new insights into the world around us. So the dreams then will often link to specific events from the day before and to new ways in which our world has been reshaped. It may simply link to our paranoias and fantasies. If we are focused on something about to happen in the near future then the dreams may link to that. Each dream captures one specific feeling or thought process.

I had a recurring dream about decaying dead babies a few years ago, except that mine came back to life and kept calling me "mommy" and I re-killed it.

For me, these dreams indicated that I was fearful and apprehensive of growing up and being a teacher and a parent. I was a freshman in college when I had these dreams, so being a "grownup" was a new endeavor for me!

Is there something in your life just starting that you are nervous about? Do you have fear that you will fail in some new endeavor?

Good luck~
