House being broke into

Hi,
I have had many dream where people are trying to break into my home. Usually i notice them on the outside trying to do this and in a panic im running around the house locking doors, warning family to try to stop them. Im usually just barely a step ahead of all there attempts. They usually do break in eventually, and then im trying to contact the police for help.

well I have had dreams like these and they have actually linked to security concerns about leaving doors unlocked. Things like that. Real worries about crime.

Yet I ahve also had similar dreamns which have had different meanings. If someone is trying to get binside your house it may link to some extreme form of criticism. People trying to reveal your personal weaknesses or invading territory that you consider to be your own. What happened the day before. Was there anything that you considered to be very intrusive.
