multi-fruited tree

I dreamed that I was climbing a very large tree that I originally thought was a southern oak (the kind we have in florida), however, as I was climbing, I looked up through the branches and saw that the tree was loaded with fruit. The first fruits I saw were lemons and limes, then green apples, all of which were growing from the same tree. There were many more apples than citrus, though. Some of the apples were lumpy, as if there was a blight or bug infestation, but most of them were very smooth and very large, somewhat bell-pepper shaped. I wasn't nearly as impressed with the fact that the apples were growing with the limes and lemons, which I didn't touch, as much as I was with the size and shape of the apples. I grabbed one to taste it, and was pleased to find it very sweet. I remember telling myself, "oh, good, they ARE ripe". Then I noticed that some of the apples were peeled even though they were still growing on the tree, and others were in slices that were together like a whole apple, but pulled away ready to eat as if someone had climbed up and sliced them for me. I do remember being very puzzled about that. Incidently, it was Halloween-time in the dream, which I know because I wanted to decorate the yard. It's nowhere near Halloween, I dreamed this last night, and I'm curious as to what this means.

The Halloween time aspect is well worth considering. I have seen it many times and in the context that you have mentioned typically shows that the dream is "Masked", which is an announcement in itself by your subconscious mind that the dream is not to be taken at face value. Actually the way that the tree presents it's fruit shows something that I do not see often. It shows that it is likely that you need the nutrients in your system, that are contained in the fruit's shown. I would take this to mean that vitamin C should be on your list of intake at this time. The subconscious mind knows all that is going on within the body, and sometimes gives the dreamer a heads up on what is happening and what is needed in the body.
It is really ingenious in it's way that it has the some of the fruit prerpared for you to eat! This is a great dream as it shows that the line of communication is open regarding your state of health.
Look for a cold or flu in your future... something that the Vitamin C would help you to navigate more smoothly through.
The bugs in some of the fruit can also show that health problems are in the process of evolving (again indicating something that the Vitamin C would help you to overcome.
